Also, it’s important to recognise that with characters whose sexuality hasn’t explicitly been confirmed (which is most of them), calling them straight is also a headcannon. I don’t understand why it’s such a big deal if people want to interpret their relationship as romantic and honestly it just screams homophobia when people are this upset about it. They are fictional characters, I don’t see the issue. No matter what you may think, homosexual relationships are still underrepresented in media and TV, so often LGBTQ+ people use gay ships and head cannons because they instinctively want to identify with the shows and movies they watch, they subconsciously want to see themselves in them. I don’t blame people for getting excited about what was said at the press conference. Why take that away from them when it doesn’t impact you at all? Straight people and friendships aren’t all of a sudden rare or oppressed just because some choose to interpret Suho and Sieun’s dynamic as romantic in nature. I’m not trying to be rude and I don’t want to argue with you, these are just my feelings. You have the right to see it as a beautiful friendship, but why can’t other people have different opinions without judgement?

I don't know about them but I believe it is a friendship. I don't know how people want friendship scenes in a drama to call it a "friendship" CANT WE GET A NORMAL FRIENDS DRAMA 😪😪
