His mom is so self-centered to the point that she does not notice what and who her son loves. I can see both sides of the point about how the son should have stood up for Ae- Sun more and as to how he tried his best to stand up for her when his mom was being cruel towards her. But at the same time, I would be lying if I said that him standing up for Ae-Sun was enough.

2025-06-05 02:07:30 +0000 UTCgwanshik and youngbeom’s situation is not comparable their mom’s are not the same at all! gwanshik’s mom was willing to listen to her son and valued his opinions while youngbeom’s mom treated him like he was invisible and dismissed everything he said! even if he tried to stand up to her it wouldn’t matter cuz we saw him try multiple times!

2025-05-22 11:57:50 +0000 UTCLenny gets it! the way youngbeom was raised with an emotionally abusive parent who never listens to what he has to say so any attempt at standing up for geummyeong was futile. it’s not his fault, he just felt helpless but still tried to do what he could its just unfortunate things turned out the way it did! that last scene was so heartbreaking i really liked them as a couple i will always mourn what they could’ve been </3 Also shout out to iu and lee junyoung for the acting masterclass they served this episode they’re amazing!
