Gojo kept Geto’s body somewhere because he didn't want to cremate him. The reason for this decision isn't explained, but fans speculate that the twin whom Geto saved in the last episode will be given a proper burial. In Japan, it is customary for bodies to be cremated upon death, as seen in JJK season 1 when Yuji talked with Gojo about Sukuna’s finger while taking out his grandfather's bones from the cremation shelf. That brainy thing can absorb the power of the host that it possesses. It needs Geto’s power to create something.

My guy literally turned off his Infinite void to protect people and STILL, they only woke up after 2 MONTHS??!!
