Lenny’s reaction when Los popped up at the end had me cracking up, he is like whats going on haha 😭 that confused look was priceless . But fr, that was such a moment , Los came in heavy with those bars. He’s a really respected rapper who grew up in Los Angeles (thus his nickname los), and he’s been through a lot, especially dealing with racism and hardships as a Korean-American in the industry. You could really feel the weight in his verse. since i know his background, i got emotional when i first watched this episode. Also just wanted to clarify , JUSTHIS isn’t a contestant, he’s actually one of the judges and producers on SMTM11 (he teamed up with R.Tee). He just gets so involved in the stages, you’d think he’s competing too 😂🔥 Every mentors of each group performances togther with their chosen contenstant when its semifinal. i have written more in dms for the next batch of request reactions giving insight of what the show is about. VVS is actually from Show Me The Money Season 9 this actually became a hit song in korea when the performance aired , and JUSTHIS was one of the judges that season. He performed that track alongside his team. MY WAY is from SMTM11 and was performed by JUSTHIS & R.Tee's team , the contestants write their own lyrics, while the beat was produced by R.Tee, who is also their mentor. What I love about these stages is how personal the verses are and at the same time motivating to get your ass up and work for your dreams , both VVS and MY WAY talk about rising up from poverty, chasing dreams, and working hard to succeed. like Mirani's verse on VVS "moms bottle of alcohol made me" .These aren’t just performances but stories straight from the heart. Loved seeing you guys vibe with this performance so much! 💙
