This was deep. Great explanation. The human mind is its own enemy. Honestly, I have to question myself. For me, I guess the curiosity of why they keep going is a cycle in itself. Why do I keep watching.. 🫢

When the Frontman saw Player 456 refuse to kill, he realized they weren’t the same. Player 456 still had a moral compass, the girl from season 1 told him, "You’re not that kind of person." That memory saved him. The Frontman never had that. No one reminded him of who he was before the game consumed him. His silence is grief for the person he could’ve been. But here’s the uncomfortable truth: we’re not just watching the game. We’re part of it. We watched hundreds suffer and die, entertained by their pain. We paid with our time, attention, and subscriptions (Netflix subcriptions) just like the VIPs who bet on lives behind glass, with their snacks/food and wine. The show calls us out: "You think you’re different? Then why are you still watching?" Squid Game isn’t just about the players or the system. It’s about us, our curiosity, our silence, our complicity. That’s why it reminded me of "You" (a serie with 5 seasons), especially when Joe Goldberg says, "Maybe I’m not the problem. Maybe the problem is you." In both shows, we watch killers and monsters, and somehow, we root for them. They hold up a mirror and ask: "Why do you enjoy watching people fall apart? Why do you sympathize with monsters?" Maybe the problem isn’t just the game or the characters. Maybe the real problem… is us... But other than that, thanks for the reaction 🩷🌸
