I don’t like Wang Ling but I still feel bad for her. Having a mother who’s too proud, hubris, narcissistic and feels superior because of her family’s act of bravery during the war is kinda sad… because she doesn’t really have her own opinion on how she should live and one word can make her mother feeling guilty to the point where she can sell her daughter out like she did… no one should have to live this way…
