According to the news, the reason Wulei didn't want to do kissing scenes in dramas before Love Like the Galaxy was because of his family's wishes. His family didn't want him to film intimate scenes until he was older. When filming Love Like the Galaxy, he was around 21 years old. He was the youngest actor in the drama, even one year younger than Lusi and her ex (Lou Yao). Another reason might be his agency's strategy to protect his image as a young actor. But now he has done kissing scenes in other dramas after Love Like the Galaxy.
