You can really see Tanjiro’s rage when the other Demon Slayers are killed, but instead of losing himself he still shows compassion. That 5th Water Form he used on Spider Mom was so beautiful it’s reserved for when a demon surrenders, so their last moments are painless and almost peaceful. Tanjiro understood she was suffering and gave her that mercy… and that’s why I love him. Also, Inosuke!! We’re starting to see more of his traits here , his insane flexibility and spatial awareness (his ‘touch’) alongside Zenitsu’s hearing and Tanjiro’s smell👏 The trio balance each other out so well ( although my boy zenitsu was having a breakdown for this ep). And if you notice the way Inosuke is thrown off by kindness. He’s not used to anyone being gentle with him, so Tanjiro and even the old lady from last ep showing him care just… hits different. You can tell he’s learning from those feelings, even if he doesn’t know how to handle it yet 😭. its cute and hilarious when he makes those faces whenever tanjiro is gentle with him
