Familiar Taste Page 20 and 21 (WIPs)!
Added 2023-01-29 05:59:01 +0000 UTCKeeping to the habit I started in the beginning of this comic releasing, I wanted to release pages 20 and 21 into the same post!
Moving from that, I want to start this by saying that 21 didn't even exist for a long time as it was supposed to be included in 20 as just a panel. However, me and my husband had a long (and I do mean long as it admittedly took several weeks to finish these pages) discussion as to how to properly finish this comic. We went through many ideas, as I'm sure you can tell by the several full page sketches that went completely unused.
After many of these failed attempts and talking more and more about how to end this as the ending date drew closer and closer near us, we made a decision! Keep the original ideas we had already came up with but expand upon them.
This effected many pages other than just pages 20 and 21, as this is where we truly decided to start adding in dialogue as a finishing touch to Familiar Taste. We even made up our minds that we would rework several pages for the future physical release to match these new details (you may notice they're in a house rather than an apartment complex)! Now we have, what I feel, is a proper end for my first comic- which you can see in my next post that will contain the finished products.
