I know the shows are long even camp zerobaseone episodes are long as heck just like boys planet but it's worth it.

2023-07-31 01:26:23 +0000 UTCI agree with you! I hope Yedam doesn't give up because he was one of my favorite dancers, alongside Zihao. Yedam is super charismatic with stable vocals. It's honestly such a shame that Mnet didn't show his audition on the first round star level test. It was amazing. I'm so happy and proud of Junhyeon and the rest of Redstart boys. I hope they debut successfully.

2023-07-31 01:25:06 +0000 UTCSame Yedam was like 3rd best dancer and a very stable vocalist I was so sad when he got eliminated. I was also rooting for Junhyeon so much but I'm happy the Redstart Boys will debut soon! But Yedam doesn't seem to have any debut plans yet so I'm so sad :(

2023-07-30 23:15:42 +0000 UTCYes you got it pretty much spot on when it comes to the group being temporary, and will only be around for 2,5 years. The only problem when it comes to the end of the 2,5 years, is that it is extremely little, to zero chances of the group continuing after those 2,5 years. The reason being that all the trainees/artist who are under entertainment companies, also have contracts with their companies. This makes it very hard for the guys themselves to decide to stay as zerobaseone under wakeone, and they will have to return. The success of the group sadly isn't gonna change that (we can hope it can, but there is such a small possibility..). This is mostly because of money. The companies are out here to earn money, and their artist are their main moneymakers. While having their artist debut in a temporary group, this give them alot of exposure and fame, and will then be a good way to get more attention to new groups that their companies gonna debut later on. I feel like the comparison you made with fotballplayers was very accurate, and made it easier to understand for people unfamiliar with the situation! To show you some examples we can look at disbanded boy group 'wanna one', and disbanded girl group 'IZ*ONE', both being groups debuting through idol survival shows by mnet, just like zerobaseone. These two group were both extremely popular, but still ended up disbanding after 2,5 years, regardless of their popularity and wishes of staying in their current group. We can see ex-members from wanna one having redebuted in groups like for example 'cix' and 'ab6ix'. And as for IZ*ONE we can see ex-members of the group in newer groups like 'le sserafim' and 'ive'. At the end of the day it's all business for the companies, and when the contract time it over, it wouldn't make sense for them to 'give' their artist away to wakeone, simply because they want to use them in their own groups. And as you said, even just sending they're trainees to boys planet, even if they don't end up debuting, gives both the companies and the trainees exposure and popularity that they can use later on. It's very sad, and I honestly don't wanna think of it, cause 2,5 years is gonna go by so quickly, and would really love for this group to stay together longer! But at the end of the day only time can tell, and all we can do is cross our fingers and hope for the best. Thanks for the reaction again guys! Love to follow your boys planet/zb1 journey!
