Love that you guys are reacting to this. I watched the Anime version of this first, before the book and then now the live adaptation... One thing I see a lot off people miss is the parallels between the relationship/ life of xiao xingchen and song lan (the two guys that caught Xue yang) and the relationship/life of Wei wuxian and Lan wangxi..In a weird way, wei ying and lan xan (probably) see those two living their lives freely and fighting evil, saving lives and being free to choose the right way without being tied down to the responsibilities of being from the head families of major clans..Those two do not have to be diplomatic and "politically correct and can just chose to follow the difficult path but with their conscience free... Unlike "the burden our two main protagonist and all the main cast in the major clans have to carry to be honest.

I love how powerful Lan Wangji’s stares are when he looks at people - especially Wei Wuxian - even though he doesn’t speak as much as the others, his expression is worth a 1000 words. Also about Xiao xingchen (guy in white who fought Xue Yang), the reason Wei Wuxian was interested when he heard he was under Baoshan Sanren is because if you guys remember from before, Wei Wuxian’s birth mother was a student of hers which means she and Xiao Xingchen are martial brother and sister so Xiao Xingchen is Wei wuxian’s martial uncle as he said. Xiao xingchen tells Wei Wuxian that all he knows is that his mother was Baoshan Sanren’s favorite student but he never met her and so Wei Wuxian was a little down about it. The other guy with Xiao Xingchen is Song Lan and those two are best friends basically. :) So excited for the next episode! Oh btw, Minghao and Wang Yibo actually know each other and have danced together before!

Hi guys, thank you for your reactions. I would like to recommend for you to watch " Our Song " Chinese show with Xiao Zhan ( Wei Wu Xian ) it's a singing competition were singers that are already famous sing with knew singers, it's very good. And also " Street Dance of China " seasons 3/4/5/6 with Wang Yi Bo ( Lan Zhan ), here you can really see how amazing of a dancer he is. 💜

Guys Wuxian deciding to spend the night on Lan Zhan's roof while they were at Nie's clan is a reference to ancient Chinese love stories. To confess their love, one would sleep on the roof of the person they fancied. Once again, subtle ways in which the untamed evaded Chinese censorship but still made Wei Wuxian's and Lan Zhan's growing romance evident.

OMG I thought I was the only one that thought Wang Yibo and Minghao(The8) look the same! People don't understand when I call them twins lol 😂 they have many similarities beyond physical appearance too (like dancing, all-rounders etc)
