I don’t think is just gonna be awkward lol, just let them stick to what they are comfortable N used to , BL genre still something not everyone can just like it easily or accept if you know what I mean , for now Imo bromance is something they seem ok with it as they are not familiar with let alone BL , but I wouldn’t mind if they wanted to watch N not because we insisted on them

Actually Lan Zhan and Wei Wuxian are the 2 youngest and strongest cultivators out of all the other youngest cultivators in their Clans and Lan Zhan could have fight back with the Wen Clan near the cave but he was worried about his uncle and the other people at cloud recess so that's why couldn't fight them and he thought about their safety so he gave himself up. All through the 16 years since Wei Wuxian disappeared, Lan Zhan with his fighting skill and powers has become even more stronger and Wenning also got stronger so they are both powerful in their own way you guys will see in later episodes. Cannot wait to watch the next episode with the Lenny Gang, have a good morning

But one thing that is emphasized in the story is that the Wen clan are big and have been subjugating/ capturing smaller clans for years. So their numbers and military power is a lot that even all the main clans together may not be able to beat them now. Also, one thing you will notice is that in this cultivation world, they live by following rules of propriety... meaning as long as evil is not done blatantly in public, then it is ignored and ppl turn a blind eye. So the other clans have been ignoring the evil actions of the wen clan over time because they have been doing it subtly (but still pretending to act cordial and like they are all equal with the others)... But now that the wen clan has enough power they are being bold and demanding that they should be feared and obeyed, the other clans now want to stand up but it may be too late... Sorry for the long rant... but I really love fantasy and this story just has me hooked.

Remember, his white clothes, is for mourning too and that Wen freaking dumb clan literally killed bunch of people from his clan. GOSH I hate Wen clan sooo bad !! I just remembered how much I hated them 😤😡

Lotus cave, yunmeng is where the Jiang Clan is based. So Lotus cave is the residence place, and Yunmeng is the city. Jiang cheng and Wei Wuxian are well respected cause Jiang cheng is future clan leader and Wei Wuxian belonging to the clan family so they are well loved by the people. Also seeing Jiang Cheng's mom you can see why Wei Ying is so well treated and loved dearly by his senior sister. Also the indoctrination is basically Wen chao and the wen clan ordering the heirs of main clans to come to Qishan so they can prove their power by holding them hostage and punish them.
