I actually watched The Untamed on the App Viki Rakuten and I have to say I really enjoyed the subtitles there and never had any issues with the captions or the audio. Maybe you could try screen recording from there?

This is the start of the worst misunderstandings between Wei Ying and Lan Zhan. If only people would just start communicating instead of hiding everything😭 We already know that Lan Zhan can’t communicate and show his true feelings even though he’s just really worried for his Wei Ying, but let’s be honest, Wei Ying is just as bad at communicating. Unlike Lan Zhan, Wei Ying talks a lot but he never really says the full truth, he will tell snippets of the truth and then continue by saying something ridiculous so everyone thinks he’s just joking and don’t take him seriously until it’s already too late.

Honestly, it's about time Wen Chao, Wen Zhuliu, and Wang Lingjiao died. I was so tired of them. Also Lan Zhan definitely could have welcomed Wei Wuxian back before asking his questions but our boy is a man of urgency and I think he felt something was off with wwx and was scared of wwx getting hurt by the magic he was using since he saw how he was using talismans that summon evil for example. I was sad to watch him leave and to see Wwx's sad face as Lan Zhan left. Also by the time you see this comment, you'll have already watched the next episode and noticed that there is a small muted section again. I checked for episodes 22-24 though and those seem to be without any muted parts as of now so thank goodness! I'll check more episodes as time goes on in case there are more serious issues that I didn't recall like episode 25.

The wrath of Wei Wuxian , the birth of yiling patriarch. In case y'all wondered how Wei Wuxian survived burial mounds, its where all dead spirits awaiting for revenge lay. While Injured and alone, without access to any spiritual abilities, Wei Wuxian resorts to his old theories regarding Demonic Cultivation. He develops a method to control Fierce Corpses and persuade ghosts to do his bidding. This is method that was discussed back when they were in school in cloud recess if y'all lennartz gang remember, that ep where lan zhan's uncle the teacher threw things at wei wuxian and warned him of this method. The demonic cultivation, this changes him as you can see during the three months he stuck inside and all the horrible things he goes through during the burial mounds is something only he knows. And For the first time since about the beginning, this change is so bad that even Lan Zhan calls him "wei wuxian" instead of Wei ying, while Wei Wuxian calls Lan Zhan "Hanguang- jun". They are back to their title names, distance. As you saw Wei Wuxian wouldn't even let Lan zhan get too close, he moved away when lan zhan took a step towards him. Something I think Wei Wuxian does deliberately all the time to protect lan zhan and people around him and himself is to push away the people that care for him.

My parents are fighting now lol. There's so many misunderstandings between them it's not even funny x) but we understand where Lan Wangji is coming from. My guy is concerned about Wei Wuxian but being the stoic and emotionally constipated young man that he is, he can't really express it properly. As for reacting to the OSTs, if you guys want to, you could do it after episode 33 since you'd be quite far into the drama. Also, I would like to know who your favorite character is so far ? omg, I' ve been waiting for this moment ever since Lan Zhan left us a few episodes ago without his gorgeous presence(sorry, I have to say that-man is gorgeous). This episode was really satisfying to watch for the first time, and well... it was just as satisfying now and always will be 'cause you know... revenge. I literally screamed "DESERVED" in all the scenes with Wen Chao, Wen Zhuliu, and that annoying girl whose face Madam Yu(deservedly) stepped on.                                                         That look that Wei Wuxian gave Lan Zhan when he was leaving killing me every time, istg it's too much for my heart, there was too much sadness in his eyes.                                                                                                                                                                     In conclusion, love your reactions as always, love the series as always and love you guys))))) Can't wait for the next episodes to rewatch with you)))

The end of Wen Chao F.I.N.A.L.L.Y ! You know that things are really serious or bad if Lan Zan and Wei Ying called each other by their courtesy names (Lan Wangji - Wei Wuxian). Some fact from the book and animation : The death of Wen Chao was way more horrible than that. They didn't show it in the drama due to censorship. That's how bad and gore it was 😬😬
