We in India actually had one warrior named ARJUNA who was very very famous for his Archery skills and powers he had. Trust me, powers and all these things sounds magical and unrealistic, but there was nothing you could not do at that time. ARJUNA is still very popular in India. The most epic war of all times is fully based our Lord Krishna and his teachings to Arjuna "MAHABHARATA". It was said that he could even aim bullseye in dark when no one could even see. The wars at that time used to have a rule that the battle will go on from the dawn to dusk, but during the war MAHABHARATA, the opposite side said that they will still fight or can attack anyone even at night, then ARJUNA said "then if all of you die at night before you could do anything, then it will be your fault only, cuz you know I can aim at in dark as well." Because of the fear, then the opposite side agreed on keeping the rule that was already set for the wars. LOL. People at that time were very spiritually strong and close to the divine. In this time, most of the people ask "why don't we have it now? I've never seen God, God will never come to give boons nowadays. These are all lies about powers and all." Bruh, first tell me 'Are you willing to be determined like people at that time used to be? Can you meditate for years without eating or moving for years? Can you pray God like them? Can you give your whole life to save a stranger? Can you let go off all your greed?' No, you can't. People can't now. I think I would love to see your reaction on an Indian serial "Mahabharata". It's based on the True Story. India's History from around 5 thousand years ago. and The Sanskrit epic was written 2-3 thousand years ago. You guys will love it fr.

But we got the soulmate confession instead so it's still great. 🥲 Lan Zhan wanting to bring back Wei Ying to cloud recess, being so desperate to want to hide him away just to ensure his safety and Wei Ying not understanding that is just sad. When I tell you he is tunnel-visioning that man, I'm not joking 😅 We finally get to see Wen Qing and what's going on on her side. The consequences of the Wen clan's fall, I'm telling you. Ooh but episodes 26-27 tho. I hope you guys are okay 'cause I know I'm not.

So just thank you for another ep <3 Also You wondered why Lan Zhan would want to hide Wei Wuxian Well for one, to protect him from all the other people and all the danger, to be able cleanse his soul with his qin. I think any would want to hide and protect their loved ones if almost everything was dangerous for them in the outside world.

2024-04-04 02:00:53 +0000 UTCI laughed when Lenny was like "I know yall are going to talk a lot about Wei Wuxian and Lan Zhan" because he's right and I feel so called out lol. Someone already explained how lifelong bosom friend could also be translated as soulmate so I don't need to explain that one haha, but I also loved how Lan Zhan directly asked Wei Wuxian, "who am I to you?" Lan Zhan may not show it as much as he could, but he gets hurt when Wwx pushes him away or tells him to go away. Lan Zhan is actually a very emotional person on the inside when it comes to loving Wei Wuxian and his family and stuff. Lan Zhan constantly restrains his feelings for Wei Wuxian because he doesn't want it to be troublesome for Wei Wuxian and also he was raised to be very disciplined. So when Lan Zhan chooses to show his love, he does it through showing his care whether it's defending Wwx, learning the music for him, staying by his side, etc. So when Wwx reacts the way he does, Lan Zhan gets hurt deeply and so in this episode Wei Wuxian continues to tell him to stay out of his business and sarcastically says "Who am I to you" as if he is nobody to Lan Zhan. But Lan Zhan having gone through so much effort out of pure worry and love for Wei Wuxian feels hurt and asks "Who am I to you" very directly in response. It's also hard for Lan Zhan because Wwx is very flirty towards him (more in the novel ofc but even somewhat in the show by Lan Zhan's standards). Like asking for his headband and constantly touching it throughout the show is not as lighthearted as Wwx makes it seem. So Wwx may be somewhat aware of it but he doesn't fully realize how Lan Zhan's brain pauses everytime he does something like that. It just makes his heart feel closer to Wwx even more. In the novel (not a spoiler because its not in the show) Lan Xichen even gets angry with Wei Wuxian on Lan Wangji's behalf because he feels bad for his little brother getting flirted with, teased, or pushed away all the time by the guy he likes. But I will say Wwx doesn't mean to hurt anyone and doesn't realize how Lan Zhan feels sad about that stuff. Also you guys asked at the end of the episode if Lan Xichen knows Lan Zhan is talking about Wei Wuxian and to answer your question: Lan Xichen has been onto Lan Zhan's feelings for Wei Wuxian since the very beginning so yes he knows. There's actually jokes in the fandom saying stuff like "Lan Xichen knew they loved each other even before they knew" or "watch out for Zewu Jun because he knows everything".

I usually don't comment but I've been watching your reactions since the beginning and I can honestly say that y'all are seriously the best and most entertaining reactors! Watching with you feels like I'm chilling with my friends, it really brings me incredible joy! I'm popping by just to mention a particular translation choice in the subtitles of this ep. In the scene where Lan Zhan asks Wei Ying "Who am I to you?" and Wei Ying answers "I used to see you as my lifelong bosom friend", another possible translation would be the word "soulmate". In fact, this is the word used in the YouTube subtitles :) Of course, Wei Ying telling Lan Zhan "I used to see you as my soulmate" and him responding "I still am" is incredibly sweet and, unfortunately, as much as we can get past the censorship... (Fun fact abt this scene in the novel, not really a spoiler since we're never going to see it in the drama: After hitting bullseye with his arrows, Wei Ying doesn't remove his blindfold and wears it even while playing his flute in the woods. At that time tho, someone suddenly comes up to him and kisses him on the lips. Wei Ying, being blindfolded, has no idea who that person is, but ofc we know it's Lan Zhan, who then storms off and starts hitting trees bc he's angry at himself for losing control (seriously can't with this man).
