Some people have mentioned this before but the eps are connected! It really is better if you watch some of the eps together rather than separate because having a huge gap between reaction will take away from the experience. Especially ep 26 and 27 where the ending scene is continued in the following ep!

i am sorry but i had to disagree that C-dramas don't have fight scenes. There are many good wuxia dramas( eg- the condor heroes,blood of youth,chinese paladin 1, joy of life, mysterious lotus casebook, word of honor, evernight ). Moreover, as we all know, the untamed has low production budget. That' why we don't see any of those monsters and fight scenes here.

Even on bts, Xiaozhan was wondering why weiying had to ask the headband frm lanzhan since its obvious it wouldnt fit to cover eyes 🏹😆 Also, don't expect too much for fighting scenes in C-dramas..there won't be many epic /well choreographed fight scenes even until last episode. (they didn't even show any monster/ magical creatures despite it played big parts on hunting scenes) 😌 But I rly like Cdramas OSTs and music. That whole last scene with beautiful music 🥺🤍 Abt Wen ning, I forgot the detail but he's alr special/different when he's human (part of his soul was sucked by the dancing statue when he's a child)...later he became the first Fierce corpse. Once he gained consciousness, he'll be weiying's right hand man. It made me teary when Wenqing found Wenning body with his hand still holding the talisman Weiying gave him after he was rescued on ep 5. And the part where Weiying asking Jin soldiers in the rain "are you trying to practice some kind of evil cultivation method (toward the imprisoned Wen clan)? " is a hint for future reference

The pouch shot is such a heartbreaking detail indeed T.T The rain scene always makes me cry. I feel so much for them, both their inner turmoils leave me in anguish. I decided to watch this series at the end of 2019 and i swear that throughout it all my eyes where constantly swollen because i cried heavily in most of the episodes 😖

Thanks for another episode, 26 is one of my favorites because of how WeiYing makes everyone tremble, I also like Episode 27 a lot, but 28 is the cutest and most tender. By the way about my past comment about the lady with the arms of a lumberjack, I wanted mean that while WeiYing was fiercely kissed, he couldn't free his hands from the other person's strength, and he thought that this shy damsel had enormous strength in her hands, so the shy damsel with the strength of a lumberjack was LanZhan, since the Lan’s are known for having very strong arms, remember that time when LanZhan was able to lift WeiYing, Su She and WenNing by himself when they were fighting against the water ghosts. This same SuShe who told the secret of how to enter the Cold Cave where LanZhan took refuge with all the rest of Lan’s Clan, the same SuShe who has now founded his new sect and was received by Mr. Dimples. I'm already waiting for your reactions. Thank you!

Yes I do understand Jiang Cheng side too. The fact that he lost his parents the way he did was a lot for him,so of course he's going to feel the pressure and urge of building the clan again to continue his parents legacy and show that he can be a good leader. But maybe if he would've support Wei Wu Xian a little bit more and show the other clans that they had a strong brotherly bond things would've turn up different ( and we know that he truly love his brother ). Jiang Cheng was very easily swayed by other's thinking , judgement and talking behind his back and he never took a Stan to confront them. Wei Wu Xian received all that hate, and discrimination from almost everyone because they saw him as a rogue without a powerful family and since he gave his power core to Jiang Cheng he had to turn to the demonic powers to survive, and that made it even worst for him because in the eyes of everybody he was to powerful and had to be " put down ". At the end of the day you are what you choose to be, although Wei Wu Xian sometimes didn't think about his actions before doing them, but he always defended the weak and wrongly accused, he always put other's first and him last.

Hi guys, I've watched The Untamed many times and I always get mad at Jiang Cheng because he cares more about what people my think about him and his leadership than Wei Wu Xian, he doesn't defend him not even once when people are talking bad about his brother. And also since he showed feelings for Wen Quin and Wen Ning saved him when his clan was attacked he should at least try to help. Thank you for another great reaction. Also I'm curious to know if when you finish The Untamed if you guys going to continue to watch cdramas, if so maybe you should watch "Hidden Love" after to change the genre and after you could watch " Word of Honor " or " Love like the Galaxy ". 💜

Wow, what an episode. I swear, watching these episodes in this part of the show is always hard for me for many reasons which I'm sure you guys will get to experience as well. I feel so bad for Wen Qing and Wen Ning. Wen Qing does every thing she ever does for Wen Ning basically. He's the only close family she really has and we saw in the earlier episodes how she constantly served Wen Ruohan out of fear that harm would come to Wen Ning. He's her baby brother and basically her everything. So hearing and seeing her cry was so sad and I can imagine how much pain she must have been in. Wen Ning is such a sweet guy and truly was tortured and brutalized just because those Jin cultivators were sadists and monsters. What had Wen Ning ever done wrong? We saw in the conversation between Jin Zixun and Wei Wuxian that Wen Ning had stood up for the other members of the Wen clan and then boom look at what they did to him? The fact that Jin Zixun isn't even ashamed of his actions really shows you what kind of person he is too. Also I need Jiang Cheng to calm down. I understand that Wei Wuxian undermined his authority but like sir, PEOPLE ARE DYING. But Jiang Cheng cares a lot about politics and relations which I will say of course are important, but I hope he can understand the urgency of Wei Wuxian's words. Wei Wuxian is also heartbroken over Wen Ning when he sees him and thinks he's dead, he looked at the pouch he was holding and I don't know if you remember it, but that was the one Wei Wuxian had given Wen Ning to protect him. So in that moment Wei Wuxian is especially broken seeing that Wen Ning was holding it when he went through all of that. Also oh gosh, Lan Zhan...the pain my guy goes through. First of all, I love how he was so quiet as usual but only spoke up to defend Wei Wuxian's actions. Not just because he loves him but because Lan Zhan truly thinks what Wei Wuxian said was true. But jeez, my guy Lan Zhan can't catch a break, just when he and Wei Wuxian seem to be on good terms and he talks to his brother about wanting to bring him to cloud recess, all of his worst nightmares appear before him. You can see in Lan Zhan's eyes when he talks to Wei Wuxian in the rain that he is truly afraid. He's scared and that's why he tells Wei Wuxian to think again and warns him that he's betraying orthodoxy with no way back. It's not because he thinks wwx is wrong, he warns him because he knows this could cost Wei Ying everything and is scared of what will happen to him. He's more worried about Wei Wuxian than himself in every scenario, but it is clear that his heart is on the verge of shattering when he sees Wei Ying on that horse and asks him where he's going. Praying for Wangxian to not be in divorce era again.

I wish to see Xiao Zhan play as a villain once and I hope we could get it. Because I saw him play as the main character or second male character so far in all of his works but never as a villain (I mean A REAL VILLAIN) that would suit him perfectly 🔥🔥🔥🔥

What a great episode, but so damn frustrating as well! Wei Wuxian has pretty much stopped taking crap from the cultivation world and I'm here for it 👏 Also, Xiao Zhan is so incredibly good at portraying "dark", powerful characters with a threatening aura (Little fun fact: when asked which other character he'd want to play, if he wasn't Wei Ying, he said Xue Yang. So, yeah, my man knows he'd make a great villain, and a hot one, hehe) Don't worry, Trish, you're not alone, I always tear up when watching the scene of Wen Qing finding her baby brother in the rain.... WEN NING DESERVED BETTER. About Wen Ning not being dead: I was honestly also confused when I watched it, bc let's be real, being stabbed in your abdomen with a literal pole and left outside for days?? Nobody's surviving that. But I read somewhere that this detail was changed as a result of censorship as well. In the book (and the animated series, which is much more brutal than The Untamed), Wen Ning was pretty much dead and Wei Wuxian had to resurrect him. Also, whenever they play Wuji, I just can't help but get in my feels... On one side, we have Wei Ying choosing to leave behind his whole life, his family and everyone he cares about, in order to save a group of innocent people, and on the other side we have Lan Zhan, who is standing in front of the biggest moral dilemma, because he doesn't know if he should follow the principles he's been taught his whole life, or trust the person he loves. (he looks like a lost puppy there, we've never seen him so devastated up until now) What a heartbreaking Romeo-and-Juliet type moment 🥹 Thank you, guys, can't wait for the next one!! ❤️

One of my favorite scene Wei ying counting was so darm hot. I cried for Lan zhan every time in that rain scene you can see the fear in his eyes when he asked WHERE ARE YOU GOING?. Also guys you were asking who was that new guy, he was the BIG snitch from Lan clan that tells Wen chao men how to enter the cave.

Oh I just saw someone mentioned about Su She identity so had to edit my comment since it was the same. Gosh, I hate these Jin Clan people so much argh 😒😒😒🙄🙄🙄 They are literally acting like the Wen members now (since they are the second most powerful clan out there) and try to put all the blame to Wei Ying and saying that he's arrogant and bad like SHUT UP NOW ! Wei Ying is right in everything that he said, but I guess the shoe fit since that old men got mad 🙄 Anyway thanks for the episode guys ✨️❤️🔥

Su She is someone that was in the Lan Clan before. The one that during the Sunshot Campaign, when the Wen Clan invaded the Lan Clan territory, told to the oldest son of Wen Ruohan that the secret to enter the cave on the back hills (where the Lan's where hidding) was to use the Lan headband. So he was banished from the Lan Clan as a punishment for revealing that, thus he left to his hometown and created his own sect (the later info was mentioned in this ep) . It's why it is more than awkward and considered an affront for him to be invited to the Jin's Clan place and stand in the same room as the Lan's because he did betray them in the past. Lan Xichen asked Meng Yao about it as you saw but it seems that Meng Yao didn't know the full story, only that Su She left the Lan clan somewhere in time.
