FYI : 2gether traumatized me so much when it came to Thai actors having a guitar in their hand that I literally close my laptop and watch something else.

2024-04-11 05:11:02 +0000 UTCyou guys already noticed a big theme of mob mentality, which will be the prime thing that really sets the plot forward and how wei wuxian will be treated. one person (such as the jin clan) says one thing and everyone follows along, it’s just makes me fustrated how narrow minded they r. I 100% stand alongside wuxians decision to help the wens who helped him once upon a time, and he’s just doing what everyone else is afraid to do! all the other clans are just generalizing the wen clan just want power and it’s sad to see the innocent get put on this villain pedestal because of it. although i don’t like jiang chengs character much, i have to remind myself that they are all very young experiencing all this. him, weiying n etc. are in their early 20s now but everything started to go downhill when they were around 16 or 17 (at the start of the sun shot campaign). to have all that happen within a few years would be overwhelming to some, and in addition weiying is jiang chengs older brother. thank u so much for the reactions, i appreciate u all!😊

It’s just that I felt like he could’ve done a little more you know what I mean? Like even if he doesn’t know the truth, Wei Wuxian is his brother and all and I just wish he’d said more in his defense or been more understanding when he came down to burial mounds. That being said, I understand as well that Jiang Cheng is scared for Wei Ying and that’s another reason why he’s so angry that he’s defending the Wens. I have a lot of sympathy for him, but I just think a little more could’ve been done. I also think Wei Wuxian could’ve let Jiang Cheng in the loop a little more too though!

2024-04-10 14:27:34 +0000 UTCI understand Jian Cheng's change of heart like, he's in a position where he can't be as carefree and open as he wanted and with the Wen situation, he's just stuck in place where he can't choose. if Jiang Chneg knew the truth like if Wuxian told him, I feel like he would have backed him up 100% but with Wuxian just doing his own thing and the Clan society weighing heavily on him especially the Jin clan (I've always felt like they had an angle to just get the Jiang clan under their thumb), so Jiang Chneg is just left in the open unknown. If he and Wuxian had been a united front with both knowing the truth, things would have definitely been a lot different.

Long comment ahead, sorry in advance, I just had to get my rambling out of my system 😅 I really want to talk about probably the most emotional moment in this episode, namely WangXian's conversation in the rain. In the novel Lan Zhan actually doesn't even go to Qiongqi Road and he has no idea what Wei Ying has done and that he's left basically everything behind. However, I'm really glad that they included this scene in the drama because if they hadn't, I feel like we would have missed on a very important milestone in the development of their relationship. If I'm not mistaken, this is one of the only TWO times that we ever see Lan Zhan cry in the series (the second one will come much later, but it's just as devastating). However, seeing him drop the umbrella and just let himself get soaked in the rain to me means so much more than one would understand at first glance. When you think about his character, you can't not think about how immaculate he always is. Even in battle, his clothes are always pristine. His appearance is always calm and collected. He's known for always sticking to the rules and he's just overall very proper. In this moment though, he's showing a very emotional side of him that we usually don't get to see. The control that he normally has over himself, his appearance, and his actions, crumbles because of the heartbreak he's experiencing in this moment. Of course, Lan Zhan being Lan Zhan, only a single tear shows on his face. However, what really proves how all-consuming his sadness is, is the fact that he just drops the umbrella to the ground and lets his pristine self gets soaked in the rain without caring about being proper anymore. (Yibo actually revealed in an interview that he'd always wanted to film an angsty scene in the rain, and he was very excited when he got the chance to do that with Lan Zhan. So yeah, at least one person was happy abt this scene 🥲) Anyway, those are just some thoughts that I had to share, otherwise I wouldn't be able to stop thinking about this and when are we gonna get happy, domestic husbands WangXian again?.... pls I'm begging 😭 Thankfully, watching with y'all makes it a bit more bearable 🫶 Thank you so much for the reaction, gang, luv ya ❤️

So i deleted everything🫠 But on a serious note yallll, does anybody want to start weekly or monthly MDZS/untamed debrief live discord sessions or something? It would be a dream come true to discuss scenes and characters from this story, I want to hear a full on cut-throat debate among us while defending our favourite characters, but in the end want to just cry together because we love this story so so much. 😬🥹 I am no writer but would have loved to write a thesis on this drama and story that has me hooked since Dec 2021 and i have watched it 100+ times by now.

Thankfully they upload every three days so there isn’t too much time in between to forget what happens. :) I think there’s a lot of fans who want to see many other videos and series so they try to allocate their time to many different areas so that we’re all happy. :D

I love seeing all of y’all’s reactions and you guys are truly the most entertaining I’ve watched! Sending lots of love. I’m honestly glad we have completed this episode now because it brings me so much pain even though it’s a great episode. 😂 I absolutely hate seeing Lan Zhan cry. Then he lowered the umbrella to get rid of his tears. Like don’t do this to me bruh. Also everyone blaming him for letting Wei Wuxian go, like leave him alone. He looked so sad during that whole banquet. Somehow Wang Yibo knows how to slightly change his blank expression to show the different emotions and it’s so impressive. Also don’t forget the conversation Lan Zhan had with his uncle where he mentions his father’s tragedy. Answers will be provided eventually! Also ah…Jiang Cheng…my guy please don’t do this to us. It’s so sad to see him falling for their manipulations. I understand his feelings but I wish he could stand up just a little more. I mean MianMian and Lan Zhan stood up for Wei Ying in their own ways. Jiang Cheng could’ve at least spoken for him a little more and believed in his brother’s integrity. Also how can he believe Wei Wuxian would actually talk bad about him behind his back? Wei Wuxian would never do that in a serious way like that. I think out of everyone, Wei Wuxian was the most proud to see Jiang Cheng rise up as clan leader and has always supported him. Praying for Jiang Cheng to see the light here. Also yayyy we finally got to meet A-Yuan (the kid). I love him so much, he’s so cute haha. I also love seeing the cute friendship building between Wen Qing and Wei Wuxian. Their argument about potatoes vs turnips is so funny haha. I do feel frustrated every time I see Wen Qing and Jiang Cheng’s interactions in this episode though. Like Jiang Cheng has had a crush on Wen Qing for a long time now as we saw in previous episodes and yet he seems so cold to her now. I understand the situation is complicated and stuff with Wei Wuxian saving her people and all but come on man. You were crushing on her so hard before and now this is the situation? 😭 praying for everyone here honestly. P.S. I’m glad peacock finally gained some courage and was nice to Yanli for once. 😭

Mianmian she is my girl, defending Wei WuXian at that meeting, good for my brave lady. 🙌💪 I don't remember in the novel but I always thought that Wei Ying configured the barriers to only allow the passage of certain people, in this case Jian Cheng, he was allowed walk through the barrier using Zidian. As Meng Yao said, other cultivators were unable to break through the barriers. Thank you for another episode. 🙌🙏 Ah-Yuan is the cutest and most tender baby. I won't say more.

This episode makes me cry every time, also guys you keep surprising at meng yao's smirking I told you that he has a lot to bring just wait until the flashback is over you are going to see a lot . And omg I complety forgot about those adds that come out of nowhere from these episodes from YouTube 🤣🤣🤣🤣😭 The first time I saw that, I was dying laughing 🤣 And isn't that funny how people describe Wei Wuxian as terrific, horrible, selfish, arrogant, evil, scary etc...when he's just a dude taking care of older people, being cute with his bunny teeth, try to grow child from the ground and crafting all day and especially poor 😭😭😭 Indeed, he's sooo scary WOW !!! Big claps to those cultivators. A little fact : it's not a spoiler don't worry. I just wanted to say, the author of The Untamed (aka The Grandmaster of demonic cultivation / Mo Dao Zu Shi) MXTX (Mo Xiang Tong Xiu), said that she couldn't write what Wei Wuxian had to go through during those 3 months into burial mound because of how gruesome it was, same goes for his death. That's why we never saw or heard about what exactly happened to him there + with the China censorship, I don't think they would put it on the show, even if the author had described it. Thinking about that, I just want to hug and protect even more Wei Wuxian 😭😭 Thanks for the episode ❤️🔥
