The Untamed Ep 32

Yanli is like the real mother figure of Wei Wuxian to me. Her elder sisterly bond is so high to the boys she almost raised from young kids, and to Wei Wuxian who never had a mother to raise him nor had kindness from Yu Ziyuan. Yanli loves him so much she would die to save him. And I dropped so many tears seeing her desperation to find him in that crowd.

Oh goodness. I was dreading this episode for real. The loss of senior sister is devastating and the news of what happened to the wen siblings and everything. That secret person playing the flute is on my hit list for real. Will Wei Wuxian ever stop suffering? Like bruh come on. Also quick respect to Lan Zhan who legit just betrayed everyone else in the eyes of the others to side with and protect Wei Wuxian. Jiang Yanli touched my heart so much here because we find out that even after what happened with Jin Zixuan, she doesn’t seem to love Wei Wuxian any less and he’s still the little brother she has always loved and adored. Her heart was so big and full of love for everyone. I’ll miss her always. There’s not many people who are like Jiang Yanli both in their world and also in real life. Can’t wait for the next episodes.

I wonder what that poor bubble gum did to Good Luck that he was chowing it so aggressively 😜🤣. In a more sad note this episode and the next one are just heartbroken 😞, the way Wei Wu Xian loses everything in just one day is too much. I can't wait for the flashback to end and we get to the present days. Love your reaction as always

I have always thought that the sister goes there to stop wwx from doing something crazy, she always managed to calm him down, I imagine that by going there risking her life, knowing that her brother was in danger, she hoped to calm and reason with her brother, defend him from the verbal attacks of others. This episode is so sad, the next one, half/half. Thank you for another reaction. 🙏

Many fans have different thoughts going on through Yanli’s death. From my perspective, I feel like Yanli knew she was going to die. I mean, a woman like her all defenseless and only hoping to see her brother one last time, going into a battle field that was already so dangerous.. it was practical for death to come to her. Jin Zixuan’s death was just too much for her, on top of that her parents’ death occurred as well. Despite every single rumor going on around about Wei Wuxian, she still stays on his side. Poor Yanli, she didn’t deserve any of this.😭

God what an episode it was too much , the first time I watched this ep I got really emotional but when I realize the line in the song “but no one would call me “xian” anymore “ I start weeping it hits me so hard and still even now I start tearing up watching it with you 😭

I just gotta say, yall were such a mood during the whole episode. Colin hugging his pillow tightly while chanting "No no no", Trish holding her head in her hands, like, THE STRESS!!!! I cannot believe that in the span of TWO FUCKING EPISODES we lost EVERYONE. This series is truly brutal. Also Yanli getting stabbed in the heart to save her little brother and then THAT SONG STARTING TO PLAY IN THE BACKGROUND. With the lyrics "But no one would call me 'Xian' anymore", like PLEASE. I AM BEGGING FOR SOME MERCY THIS IS PAINFUL ENOUGH AS IT IS, MY HEART CANT TAKE IT and she never even got to tell Wei Ying what she wanted to tell him........ pain. I am sorry for the all-caps and my emotional breakdown in the comment section but I am just really mad and sad and heartbroken. Can't wait for this shitty flashback to be done already bc I know I AM. (Right now I'm going to YouTube to watch some behind-the-scenes funny content and edits to cheer myself up. Love yall ❤️)

“Yan” in chinese means dislike, “Li” means separate. And senior sister names “Yan-Li” literally means she has a dislike of separate but she faced the death and separation of loved ones too many times in her life and now she’s going to separate from her two brothers and her son forever😭 although I have seen the episode ten times I still cry my eyes out. The first time I watch this episode of The Untamed I was so conflicted with my emotions. Because, listen: First, I was soooo sad and frustrated and scared for Wei Wuxian and Jiang Yanli. Then, when I saw Wei Wuxian losing his minds, and using his flute on those people who were gossiping right next to the dead bodies of the remaining Wen Clan, I was mad, sad and scared about what Wei Wuxian will do since he wasn't in a normal state. Three, I literally whipped my tears away with some tissue, and started fangirling over Wei Wuxian villain era, when he was laughing and stating facts at those cultivators but then I saw him smiling with pain and tears in his eyes and cried again. Four, I was like, "you know what Wei Ying ? One life bro, let's kill all these people. I'm tired" but then I was like, "nop that's a bad idea". After that I was like, "no way Wangxian will fight for real this time ?!" Five, I WAS SOOOOOO PISSED when I saw that someone else played the flute instead of Wei Ying and tricked him and everyone into thinking that he was the one who kill them all and transformed them into puppets. And I was so sad too that Yanli died 😭😭😭😭😭😭 I mean, what were you doing there in the first place ? Isn't that crazy how Wei Ying lost his family at least 3 times ? First he lost his biological parents, then he lost his Jiang family (his adoptive kinda family) and then his third family the remaining Wen Clan members + Wen Ning and Wen Qing. Alalala, I'm too sad right now, I feel like I'll watch some The Untamed "chibi version" to feel better 😭😭😭 Thanks for the reaction 💜

I HAVE BEEN SUMMONED!! MANNNNNNNNNN!!! WEI WUXIAN, WHAT SORROW IS YOUR LIFE!! Anyway, RIP to Senior sister. I'll make a lengthy post at the end of this series to discuss the whole thing. Can't believe the flashback is ending next Ep..Woooow. Till this day, I don't know why Yanli went to the battlefield in the first place, like girlllllllll but anyway like Jiang Cheng just holding her body and Wei Ying going full on mad and Lan Zhan having no way to save him. Ughhhhhhhh!!!!1
