It may sound cold, but what the producers said is actually correct. Idols are not people who appeal to people's emotions only because they want to be celebrities, and they must have good personality and good skills. This is because it is a place to serve as an example for others. Since we are only watching this show, we often think that the people in it are all there is, but there are many people in the world who are better than them and desperately want to become celebrities. Producers are not trying to disparage the person, but are giving objective feedback on attitude and skills. We all have a hard time maintaining our positions in this world simply because of the desire to do something. However, such words just sound more provocative to the trainees.
