This was your first introduction to BL dramas, innocent yet intense. I hope it won’t be your last. 😉 Anyway now that you finished the drama, I would like to ask a few questions lol who is your favorite character and who do you hate ? Any memorable ones ? What do you think of WangXian ? Do you intend to watch the donghua (animated series) ?

2024-07-01 11:37:22 +0000 UTCThanks for the reaction, I became a Patreon because of the untamed, and really liked your other reaction. Please if you could add Word of Honor on your next Cdrama poll it would be great, it is another very good drama and doesn’t have that many episodes as the untamed. This has been a great journey thank you guys 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

2024-07-01 05:28:31 +0000 UTCHere to mini rant that i love 'the untamed' with all my heart, but the last episodes are sooooo dragged for no reason. Almost felt like the indian soap operas lol. 47/48 episodes would also have been enough. No one wanted to see Jin guangyao's stupid face for 4 episodes straight with Zewu jun being an absolute idiot through more than half of it....ugh. But its the best show for me regardless of its shortcomings.

2024-06-29 18:56:31 +0000 UTCI'm actually so sad The Untamed is coming to an end since this journey made me appreciate and love The Untamed all over again. Maybe, if you are comfortable, please react to Thai dramas as well. I feel like if you were to ever start your Thai drama journey, it has to start with Bad Buddy since whenever y'all see an edit of it, there is always a big smile on y'all's faces.

2024-06-29 15:25:04 +0000 UTCI just finished reading your essay and wow, your effort really shows! 👏 it's also a testament to the masterpiece that TU is and its massive impact and popularity, because what other drama's fans would actually sit down and take the time to do such an in-depth analysis of each character? thank you so much for doing that so excellently 🫶

2024-06-29 15:20:24 +0000 UTCwow you actually watch 50 eps of a slow paced c-drama 🥺 thank you.. It's been a fun journey. Hope you'll react to the OSTs later (there are engsub MVs and others are coded lyrics). Also some fun videos such as wangyibo jackson wang chaotic mess.. If you're still interested in c-drama, I'll recommend the ones with shorter episodes ♡

I was actually waiting all day for your essay 🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭, I just woke up from a nap (that kidnap me btw) and read this 👌🏼 And of course, you said everything but still, I feel like if you could or wanted you would've written an entire book just to talk about The Untamed, the plot and their characters which is understandable😆

2024-06-29 13:21:44 +0000 UTCLONG READ AHEAD! It is finally here, what you have all been waiting for… THE ESSAY! I can’t explain how excited I am to write this and just how happy I am to share this with you. It may be long but please enjoy and let’s get into it! (This is just an overview as a fan, author and overall consumer) The untamed is such a special story not because of its wonderful story and the characters but also how it was presented, the cultural influences and its boldness in representation as a historical BL drama adapted from the books. Its plot, flow of the story and its compelling nature makes it such a unique and worldwide loved story by millions. Theres a reason why people get so attached to it and it significantly changes someone once you’ve experienced the world of Lan Zhan and Wei Wuxian. A magical change and so I was very happy to share this journey with you guys and that you’ve enjoyed it as much as we have. Now getting into the characters themselves, here’s my piece of mind on everyone important; 1. Wei Wuxian – Our lovely main character and who the story is told from. It is from his perspective which makes it even more appealing as the nature of Wei Wuxian is free from a biased recounting. This is what I think MXTX was striving to achieve when she wrote Wuxian as a character, he basically represents the ideal goodness of people, a standard that many wish to have. From the get-go, we see Wuxian representing such strong values as integrity, honesty, truth and justice which are often unrealistic for normal human beings. He’s a bit cheeky, a prankster which a passion for life which can be a bit annoying but he’s able to layer that with his charming personality that you overlook it. Wuxian is created to immediately draw people in, whether it be his looks, talents or personality, you can’t help but admire him and then grow to like him, tolerate him and then love him endlessly and I think this is a very big role MXTX built for him so that we became attached to him. Making him into such an interesting and beloved character makes us more open to the story as well as making us resonate with him. MXTX making him the narrator of the story was such a perfect move because it makes the audience feel a sense of righteous calling and a perfect form to achieve vengeance on Wuxian’s behalf. There’s not much that hasn’t been said about him that hasn’t been said before however, there’s one thing, I want to draw on that Wei Wuxian is what I would call a foolish hero. Why? He is a very commendable character someone that we want to see win however, through the course of the story we see that even with the intentions that he is not someone who is able to deal with the consequences especially after he became the Yiling patriarch. Based on who he is, we see him trying hard to save the people and does what he can with what he has. Wei is a person who is a victim of his surroundings which in turn informs his direction to help people not become victims themselves. He tries his best to save the Wens and genuinely believes that he can and can control his own power yet at the same time he does ignore the probability that things can actually go wrong and that he can fail which cause his fallout with Lan Zhan and Jiang Cheng. It is this stubborn belief which ends up being his own trap and he ultimately fails to save the people he wanted to save. He is a hero but a hero without hindsight, albeit that this was the only option he had, Wuxian reminds me greatly of another similar character MXTX has written Crown Prince Xianle; both wanted to save the common people and were stubborn about it and lost it all in the end. I am not blaming him but if he had more faith in the people around him, especially when he was in a vulnerable state of not having a golden core anymore, he could have given himself a supporting rock to lean on. This is something Jin Guangyao was right about when he states that if Wei Wuxian had trusted his friends at that time, none of the clans would have made a bold attempt to corner him especially someone like Jin Guangyao. A great lesson here to know that sometimes, even with all power in the world, you can’t always save the people you want. Sacrifices and losses will be made, and you must concede sometimes to the reality of the world. But we consider that he was young, he was grieving as well and that at the time, that was his only option. 2. Jiang Cheng – Jiang Cheng is such a character that people either hate or love and I’m on the loving part. We already know much about him, so I won’t repeat myself. One thing about Jiang Cheng is that he represents that morally grey area which many people don’t pick up on. He is not good or bad completely, rather is painted in the middle. Sometimes he’s a complete asshole and wicked man because he has done some really bad things while other times you feel his pain and desperation and just want to give him a hug. His ending with Wuxian feels like a fitting one, like they know the truth, their feelings have been resolved and now they can each walk their own way. Wuxian doesn’t have to be indebted to the Jiang clan anymore and Jiang Cheng can finally leave Wuxian’s shadow and be the man he is supposed to be. There is a freeing essence to the both of them as they leave each other, they can hold those memories of being brothers forever, they’ve forgiven the wounds caused to each other and now they can be content living as known strangers with each other. I was happy with such a finish, that sometimes we don’t need to resume some relationships just fondly keep them in our hearts. The only thing I’ll remind people who hate Jiang Cheng, especially when it came to the whole Golden core thing, is that Jiang Cheng lost his in the first place because he was trying to save Wuxian and Wuxian gave it back because he was trying to save him. It was such a paradoxical move and the fact that Wuxian never gets to hear this end of the conversation makes it even more bittersweet. Both brothers loved it each deeply and with it came a lot of untold, heartful pain and secrets. There was so much to learn from him especially when it came to childhood abuse and trauma and how it causes generational dispute. Another thing I would like to offer is that I think Jiang Cheng is right in his feelings of hatred towards Wei Wuxian. Given as we are the audience, we have the luxury of knowing the truth of issues as they unfold within the story however, Jiang Cheng like a lot of other people don’t get the truth until the last episodes and with it comes a state of conflict. He’s one of the primary victims of the Yiling Patriarch’s actions and had a personal relationship with him, imagine all your life hating someone because they did something and find out they didn’t and even more secrets and now you’re just left confused like should I hate you, should I hate myself, who is to blame for everything. A lot of people overlook his state of rage and projection yet in truth, he’s reaction is warranted. Wouldn’t you do the same knowing that the person who was supposed to be your brother betrayed you for strangers, leaving you alone and contributes to the suffering you endured for 16 years? I could go on and on about him but enough is enough. All imma say is that his relationship with Wei Ying was supposed to be complicated from the very beginning. One way or another, they were bound to have a gap between them through their years. 3. Lan Zhan – My man, my man, my man!! Who can say anything bad about this fucking angel. He’s my favorite character in the whole book. His dedication, his temperament, his elegance EVERYTHING ABOUT HIM IS JUST SO PRECIOUS!!!!! A literal ten out of ten. I think why I love Lan Zhan so much is because we see him from Wuxian’s point of view, and you can’t help but fall in love with him. We have never met Lan Zhan alone as his own character rather we get his nature from how Wuxian interacts and grows with him and this in turn feeds our attachment to him. We understand his nature through Wuxian and so our perception of him is in accordance with our relation to Wuxian. All in all, Lan Zhan is such a wonderful boy, and we need more people like him. I’d, however, want to point out how different MXTX wrote Lan Zhan as a contrast to Wuxian. It is almost to draw a comparative nature even when they believe in the same things. They are a literal sides of the same coin but when it comes to Lan Zhan, he is more realistic and withholds his personal sentiments than Wuxian. Lan Zhan has the ability to detach from people and respect the rules of the world as opposed to Wuxian who defies the order of the world. Later we see him became more accommodating, but I still think he functions with the same stem of looking at the big picture. I often wonder had it been him who had found the Wens, what would he have done? I also wonder, how different the story would be if it had been told from his pov. 4. Jin GuanYao- Now, let me tell you something, we can all confidently say that we hate Jin Guangyao, and he deserved death but man, you have to admit he was a perfect villain. He is a true testament that villains aren’t born but made. MengYao was a beautifully written character because as a villain, he’s not doing this out of spite or hatred towards Wuxian specifically or for shallow reasons but rather is doing everything for his own benefit and rise. He had very persuasive reasons to being a villain. Every move he made had a purpose in the grand scheme of things. Be it killing his brothers and fathers, using Wei Wuxian as a shield, marrying his half-sister, killing his son, killing Red blade Master, everything had a purpose. He was strategic, knowledgeable, manipulative and damn right almost successful. You have to give it to the guy for being ten, twenty steps ahead of everyone. MengYao rose from his poor stature and sought a place for himself. In the beginning he really wanted to have a normal life and just be treated like a human being yet even that was too much to ask for someone of his nature. Just because he was a whore’s son, he was liable to mistreatment. Now I know this is not justification for his actions, I’m just pointing out that MengYao fell victim to his circumstances before he decided enough was enough and got into the game. That being said, he shows the difference between himself and someone like Xue Yang. I would argue that Xue Yang is much worse than Guangyao, why? Because of the different driving forces, Xue yang is just someone who is sick in the head and does this for his own self-satisfaction without any real driving force while Guangyao had a plan for elevational, self-protection and revenge at the same time. He knew he would never truly be accepted anywhere so why not take advantage of the situation and best protect himself. I can understand why he did all the things he did like yeah; I really can understand because, I too would kill someone who keeps getting in my way and abusing me each time we meet i.e. RED BLADE MASTER (Nie Mingjue was just an asshole at some point really and was asking to be offed. He should have just shut his mouth sometimes)!!! And he took advantaged of Wuxian’s situation to really drive his plan into action and then keep up the act for almost 16 years. Everyone around adored him, he solidified his station, he was a good leader, he really elevated the Jin clan and helped other clans as well. YOU have to give it to him; he really outdid any expectation anyone had of him, and he could have gotten away with it too. When he was revealed as the villain, I was very shocked because you didn’t see it coming. He was such a secondary character that rose to heights and stood at the top. That’s good writing right there and he would have succeeded if Mo Xuanyu hadn’t met with Nie Huaisang, Jin Guangyao would have enjoyed the fruits of his labour. The only thing he downplayed was that he was the only one playing the game. He was a predator, killing all his preys but didn’t know there was a hunter behind him as well. I respect him for going all out. He had the brains, the plans, the money, the pawns and the execution. Everything would have really worked out for him if he took care of the loose strings properly. RIP you freaky ass bitch. 5. Nie Huaisang – and now we come to the champion of this story. When I tell you the shock that overcame me when I found out the truth of this little bastard…. I was SHOOOK!!! Like I couldn’t believe it, him out of all people? It didn’t make sense yet at the same time it made sense like... I know everyone’s reaction was exactly like mine. Nie Huaisang, Nie HUAISANG! WE TRULY UNDERESTIMATED YOU! He is what we call a hidden card, that one knife that finished the job! Ohh, MXTX outdid herself with this person right here. Where do I even begin? How do you dissect a character that has no dissecting parts? Like he filters in like a ghost over this story. He’s the puppet master of this play yet had the least amount of hand in the story until the finale and disappears afterwards. What makes it more captivating is that we assume we know the nature of Nie Huaisang, and that assumption still stands until the end because Mxtx never resolves the true nature of Nie Huaisang. Is he a good person or bad? Did he always have a hidden side to him, or did it develop after the death of his brother? Is he truly as innocent as he seems or is it a play on us because since the story is in Wuxian’s pov, this is the way he views Nie Huaisang? When did he become suspicious of Jin Guangyao? How did he manage to keep up his appearances? Had he always been this cunning, crafty and intelligent? To what length was he ready to go to get his revenge? What was he going to do to Wuxian if he didn’t complete his last curse wish? So many questions to ask a character that is just an enigma to the audience. People think we know him, but do we? Or do we know the version of him that he has presented to us which may or may not be his true persona? Do you know what the scariest thing is? It’s the fact that just for pure revenge, Nie Huaisang was willing and able to resurrect Wei Wuxian from the dead through a forbidden sacrificial ritual, used poor Mo Xuanyu’s craziness to achieve this goal and make everyone his chess pieces and use them however he wished meaning if they didn’t get the result he wanted, he definitely had the ability to make them disappear as well. He didn’t think twice about bringing back the Yiling Patriarch and it’s by pure coincidence that Jin Guangyao had done something to Wuxian as well coz I don’t think Huaisang was interested in all that... he just wanted the downfall of Guangyao by all means and used the same route Guangyao had used which is Wuxian who was a shield for all of them. This man studied the villain, learnt his ways and became a literal menace to society. Props to Mxtx for such a character because writing someone like him isn’t easy. Nie Huaisang is a character that already knows the whole plot of the story before it’s even written. One must have such a calculated and precise angle of introduction and relevance to the story, as he is the one that keeps dropping the hints all through. You can’t do too much, give too much or delay his various pinpoints along the way and his revelation must be impeccable. His impact must be felt so that we as the audience will be like, really? Him? How? When? It has to grip us intensely and to do that as a writer is very hard since you must be aware that this character doesn’t follow the story, the story follows his directive. An excellent piece of literature and character building. This in turn makes a shocking revelation that as much as Wuxian is the main character of the story, he is not the driving force at all. What do I mean? Wuxian is a simple piece of a puzzle that got caught in crossfire and somehow emerged as a cardinal main protagonist, to mean that he simply found himself at the right place and the right time and was elevated to being the center of the story, however, the story is run by other people, who are the major shareholder and thus influence our center character to act and do certain things. In the first half, the runners are the Wens who are the obvious threat to the world. Through their actions, devastation reaches across the clans and here we see a comparison of the Lan clan and the Jiang clan situation. Both were on the verge of extinction which means that Wuxian’s fate could have easily befallen Lan Zhan had Mxtx chose it. Of course, this would have changed the storyline, but my point is it that this shows that Wuxian isn’t the one in charge of the course of his fate, despite being the main character, his position was mostly influenced by the environment that pushed him in certain directions. It could have happened to anyone if we really think about it. The second half, the story is run by Jin Guangyao, which is only revealed towards the end, but we know as the audience that after Wuxian becomes Yiling Patriarch, someone else is pulling the strings until his death and finally the last runner of the story is Nie Huaisang who brings back Wuxian and Lan Zhan to plot against Jin Guangyao. All in all, Wuxian and the rest were just valuable chess pieces for ambitious people to move around. It begs the question, if someone else comes up in future, will they still fall under the same manipulation? I mean being the Yiling Patriarch is still a widely fearful and dangerous position, who wouldn’t want to take advantage of that? Although we do see some positive change with the new generation of cultivators such as our Trio/Quad group pf babies. In short, the untamed/Mdzs is such an amazing, amusing and delightful piece of art that needs to receive every award out there and forever be appraised in the halls of legendary cinematography and writing. Thanks for coming to my ted talk!!!💕💕💕Sorry it was so long!

2024-06-29 13:05:23 +0000 UTCwow, amazing explanation!! just in case there's any confusion tho, this is all from the novel, so when it comes to the drama there are some differences (for example, what Nie Huaisang releases in Mo Village is not his brother's left arm, but his blade spirit). but yeah, excluding some details, that's pretty much the whole story in the drama as well

2024-06-29 08:23:15 +0000 UTCHi Lenny, just wanted to say that I really appreciate and enjoy the content you react to because your content literally distracts me from my hectic life. Since I'm a teacher/tutor, I barely have time for myself so when I do have time to relax, I watch your videos. Yesterday I bought The Untamed books, posters, dolls and they are in every corner of my house.

2024-06-29 06:58:59 +0000 UTCWow this episode is so intense. Even tho it was worrisome, wen ning’s entrance was so cool and badass looking. I remember being so shook to see sizhui get thrown through the door like that. Like not wangxian’s child getting yeeted😭. Also yeah I was so happy to see lan Zhan take Jin guangyao’s arm away. Bro was like “no more holding strings against people’s necks for you”. I thought he was really cool for that. I love how Jiang Cheng gave Wei Ying his flute as well. Like we all thought that thing was long gone. Also Trish I get how you feel girl. Like Jin Guangyao 100% deserves death but it doesn’t need to be zewu Jun. Purely because of how much those two cared about each other. Tbh im unsure if Jin Guangyao deserves for me to say he didn’t deserve zewu Jun hurting/killing him. But one thing is for sure, zewu Jun didn’t deserve to take on the painful burden of hurting or killing someone he cared about so much in my opinion. Like after nearly 50 episodes, I felt like knowing zewu Jun’s character, he’s the type to never forget the trauma of something like this and so I don’t think he deserved to take on the burden he did in that scene. We remember how he foolishly believed in Jin Guangyao and even equated him as being his version of what wei Ying is to lan Zhan when he was arguing with wangxian. So I just feel like he’d be emotionally scarred. Cause after all, he just found out jin Guangyao did all this fairly recently. It’s hard for zewu Jun to forget the guy he thought he was for decades. Like Jin Guangyao is one of the characters I dislike the most in the whole show but I can’t help but wish someone else would take zewu Jun’s place. Also everytime I see Wei Ying use chenqing, I get scared for his insides. Like bro is bleeding from using that thing for a few minutes 😭. Since the untamed era (for the show) is ending soon, I went to see what things you guys are watching/ have watched on patreon and I legit have been binging your I-land, svt one fine day/ 13 castaway boys, and kingdom reactions non stop. 😂😂 P.S. you guys were so right about what you said about rewatching the show. Like for me, it just gets better the more I rewatch it and it’s so interesting to re-experience the earlier episodes with the knowledge of the whole show.

2024-06-29 05:50:21 +0000 UTCit was untamed 5th anniversary... nie huaisang the character u r... the plot twist is just... I'm so happy with Jimin's new album coming ... the time u read this u would know who real mastermind was... NIE HUAISANG.. I'm gonna explain how it happened it would be long comment.. His plans begins after his brother Nie Mingjue’s death through qi deviation. Nie Huaisang naturally becomes the new Qinghe Nie sect leader. He is still unwilling to cultivate the saber, lest the same fate befalls him, as previous Nie sect leaders have also lost their lives through qi deviation. When Nie Huaisang notices that his brother’s corpse has gone missing, he begins his search. He is only able to track down his left arm that he can neither suppress nor control. Thus, his first goal is to find the remaining pieces. His plan unravels chronologically as follows. step by step: step 1. MO XUANYU Nie Huaisang seeks out the traumatized Mo Xuanyu and goads him to perform the sacrificial summon with the incentive of revenge against his abusive family to summon Wei Wuxian back from the dead. step 2. MO VILLAGE Nie Huaisang lets Nie Mingjue’s left arm loose in Mo village when the Lan juniors (Lan Sizhui and Lan Jingyi) arrive to help solve the issue of increased number of fierce corpses recently. Nie Mingjue’s left arm ends up claiming the lives of all of Mo Xuanyu’s aggressors; Mo Ziyuan, Madam Mo, her husband and A-tong, hence freeing Wei Wuxian from the debt of the sacrificial summon by fulfilling Mo Xuanyu’s wish for revenge. step 3. THE BODY PARTS SEARCH. Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji’s search for the other body parts begins: The left arm is taken to the Gusu Lan sect and it directs them north-west, to Qinghe. Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji encounter Nie Huaisang who tells them about the “Man-eating castle” which is revealed to be the Nie Sect’s Ancestral Hall. Backstory: The sabers cultivated by the Qinghe Nie Clan became strong enough to have a desire to kill evil spirits on their own even of their owners’ died. As this created even more bloodshed, the sixth head of the Nie Clan came up with a plan to appease them. He built a tomb for the sabres with a number of corpses that were going to turn into fierce corpses. This way, the sabres could continue to fight with evil spirits even after their owners’ deaths. -> Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji discover the legs of the corpse in the wall of this Nie Sect’s Ancestral Hall ->The left arm then points to Yueyang next, where they witness the torso of the corpse being dug up by an unknown Gravedigger (who turns out to be Su She) ->Lan Wangji finds the corpse’s right arm in Yi City after splitting up with Wei Wuxian. -> The corpse reassembles itself in a headless body in a garden in Tanzhou. After fighting the corpse and playing ‘Rest’ to appease it, Lan Xichen recognizes its movements as that of his sworn brother. Nie Mingjue. 4. GETTING THE JUNIORS TO YI CITY Nie Huaisang goes to great lengths to lure the junior disciples into Yi City. It is presumed that technically he would go that far as to put the blame on Jin Guangyao quicker, if the juniors were to die at the hands of Xue Yang, which shows how strong his resolve is. Nie Huaisang first targets Jin Ling, in an inn located in Qinghe, by nailing a dead black cat to the door of his room and a pool of blood outside as he wakes up. This happens night after night, despite him going from inn to inn, which eventually prompts him to investigate. At the same time, Lan Sizhui, Lan Jingyi, Ouyang Zizhen and a few other juniors had been night-hunting in Langya. They first find the head of a cat in their soup, and then the corpse of a cat in their beds. This prompts them as well to investigate, ultimately meeting up with Jin Ling. Ultimately as they met, Nie Huaisang disguises himself as a hunter from a nearby village to point them accurately, directly towards Yi City, which was his goal for this part of the plan. 5. SISI & BICAO Nie Huaisang frees Sisi and asks Bicao to inform Qin Su about her true relationship with her husband Jin Guangyao. Qin Su receives the letter the night before the Discussion Conference, which makes her take her own life. 6. MENG SHI’S GRAVE (Jin Guangyao buries Nie Mingjue’s head in an iron box with Meng Shi’s body (jin guangyao's mother) in Guanyin Temple.) Thus, it’s Nie Huaisang who retrieves the head and removes Meng Shi’s body, placing a poisonous trap in its place. 7. THE LETTER -> second Burial Mounds siege Nie Huiasang sends Jin Guangyao a letter warning him that he will expose all his secrets in seven days. !This triggers the Second Siege of the Burial Mounds. Jin Guangyao uses the Stygian Tiger seal to control the corpses there and Su She seals the cultivators’ spiritual power. After Wei Wuxian’s thorough analysis in front of the hundreds of cultivators present, Su She reveals himself as Jin Guangyao’s accomplice. 8. LOTUS PIER As the cultivators recover after the second siege and go to Yunmeng, at Lotus Pier, Bicao and Sisi (instructed previously by Nie Huaisang) arrive to tell their stories: > Sisi tells how Jin Guangyao murdered his father Jin Guangshan > and Bicao tells how Jin Guangyao’s wife Qin Su was his own sister. Hearing this, the clans begin to plot his downfall furthermore . 9. GUANYIN TEMPLE Despite popular belief Nie Huaisang isn’t captured against his will or helpless at Guanyin Temple. Everything he planned for Guanyin temple was extremely deliberate and well thought out as it’s the final piece of the puzzle. His plans were as follows: He released Nie Mingjue’s fierce corpse onto Yunping to hunt down Jin Guangyao He was willingly “captured” by Su She to play on Jin Guangyao’s pity through seeing him defenseless and scared He deliberately allowed Su She to cut his leg because Nie Mingjue’s fierce corpse can still sense that his brother is hurt He also uses his leg wound at the very end, by overreacting to the pain, distracting Lan Xichen from a very wounded Jin Guangyao, so that he makes him think he attacked him from behind. This results in Lan Xinchen stabbing his dear sworn brother, ultimately leading to Jin Guangyao’s death. Wei Wuxian pieces it all together at the end, deducting the lengths Nie Huaisang went to and the magnitude of his plan.

2024-06-29 04:17:28 +0000 UTCAhhhhh 😩😩😩 This episode reaction made me realize how much I love and missed The Untamed everyday (even tho I'm rewatching it every day sjxjdjx) + it was the 5th anniversary of The Untamed and it made me emotional again 😭😭😭😭 Gosh, it's been 5 years now that The Untamed came out and almost 5 years that I'm in this Untamed fandom but still, my depression is not over 😭😭😭 and the fact that I became a fan right after the 227 incident break my heart even more because I didn't get the chance to be there when everything was alright, I didn't get the chance to witnessed the happy moments and bts of Xiao Zhan and Wang Yibo. I was really heartbroken because I wasn't expecting to see such a beautiful friendship to end like that and I wish everyday that they are still friends in private, I hope so... By the way guys, the reason why Wen Ning (possessed by Red Blade master spirit) was about to attack Jin Ling, it was because the blood of Jin Guangyao was on Jin Ling shoulder. When Lan Zhan cut Jin Guangyao arm, his blood went on Jin Ling shoulder since he was next to him at that time. And since Red Blade Master spirit wanted at any cost to attack Jin Guangyao he was pretty much following the smell of his blood. And the reason why the Blade came out of the coffin and went directly to Su She and stabbed him to death, if I remember correctly, it was because Red Blade master spirit sensed that his brother Nie Huaisang was in danger kinda when Nie Huaisang was screaming for help saying that Su She wanted to attack him. Nie Mingjue wanted to protect his brother, no matter who the person was, Su She or Jin Guangyao. Something always make me laugh : the fact that no one can't escaped Lan Zhan's sword, but the sword itself couldn't escape from Wei Wuxian (the poor soul of Bichen, RIP bro). Novel reader know what I'm talking about 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭😭 Gosh, I'm too emotional right now. I just finished watching I-LAND S1 which was emotional too with Taki being eliminated and now seeing that their's only 1 episode left of The Untamed... It's like I'm saying goodbye for the I don't know how many time to someone very dear to me, I can't 😭😭😭😭 Thank God yall posted a bts tiktok compilation right after. It's currently 4:50 a.m and I went through a roller-coaster of emotions 😭 Thank you so much guys for this reaction, and I'll remember this journey of The Untamed with you guys forever. I'll miss Good Luck singing the outro song, Collin going thru emotional crisis with each villain, Trish connecting dots each episodes and Lenny saying any random comments about each characters that cracked me up 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 (I might do a crack video of your Untamed journey tho sjjsjxjsjjsjx) Anyway, I hope yall will have a good break, take care of you guys and see ya in episode 50. Love you 💜🩷🪷 Note : the other thing that Trish and Collin guessed right was about Nie Huaisang being the one who sent Bicao and Sisi to tell the truth about Jin Guangyao 😄 I didn't want to say anything because that would've have spoiled ep 50. I'm saying this because yall will read this comment in episode 50 and will obviously understand that Nie Huaisang is and was always the REAL mastermind in this show. Nie Huaisang, the man that you are

2024-06-28 23:19:36 +0000 UTCWell, I can say it now. Qin Su was already pregnant, they don’t mentioned that in this episode, but the was one of the main reason for Meng Yao to married his half sister… After the last episode, you can check out again the very first episode and see who is the man behind the courtain… Oh! Trish, I am with you, Zewu Jun of all the people. Oh, another thing, I think it was good that Zewu Jun interrogated Jin Guangyao, so they gave him the opportunity to confess everything he had done, and recognize that WeiYing is innocent. Ready for the last one! Thanks for you reaction! Always appreciated each and one of them 🙏

2024-06-28 23:11:00 +0000 UTCIf I had a dollar for every time LZ has cut off somebody's arm, I'd have two dollars, which is not a lot but it's still weird that it happened twice 😂 (first was Xue Yang). Jiang Cheng actually kept WWX's flute Chenqing all those years 🥹 Gosh, those two are such complex characters and their relationship is so complicated as well. So much to unpack there... Bro, this episode was so stressful fr. Wen Ning being possessed by the spirit scared the shit out of me, when he was trying to stop that blade, I was also yelling together with yall at Jin Ling, JC and WWX to GET THE FUCK OUT OF THERE. Also afterwards, WWX maneuvering that giant ass blade like he was trying to park a truck or sth, while at the same time Sizhui starting to remember his past... JEEZ. Also, can I just say, I love how Trish makes this 🥺 face every time they show LZ staring at WWX or taking care of him. I get it, girl. You and me both 🥹 About Zewu-jun stabbing Meng Yao, I fully understand where Trish is coming from. Him being the one to do it is even more traumatizing on top of everything else. Yes, he is a terrible judge of character but did he actually deserve to suffer so much at the end by not only being betrayed by one of his closest ppl but also having that person's death on his conscience? I honestly feel pity for him. NIE👏HUAI👏SANG👏!!!!! By far the wildest card and the biggest plot twist in the story! I still remember how shocked I was at the end when everything clicked into place 🤯 Fun fact, yesterday (27.06) was the 5th anniversary of The Untamed! 🥰 By the time you read this comment, you're gonna be finished with the series so I just wanna say, CONGRATS GUYS!!! 🥳🥳🥳 I'm saving my final words for ep.50 but I can't wait to see what exciting future reactions await us ❤️
