Yess, totally agree. I don’t really watch recent kdramas, it seems like it lost its charm of Korean things (?) idk how to explain that. It’s like kpop nowadays, kpop doesn’t sound kpop at all. Now mostly I rewatch older ones only :) If I want smth new to watch, then most of the time I search older ones that I haven’t seen. P.S I watched Moon lovers only once in 2016, so now I’m rewatching it and I didn’t remember it has cheesy moments. It remained in my memory as a painful, tragic one. So, I was surprised 🥲

Like, in this year, I literally dropped almost all the dramas after a couple of episodes, but I can still rewatch old dramas like My Love from Another Star, Full House, and Boys Over Flowers.

But, when guy from “Weightlifting fairy Kim Bok Joo” calls 8th prince’s wife “Sister”, it’s not real sister. It’s not incest. They grew up together as he said. “Nunnim/ nu-i” is older word of the “Noona”, man calls like that woman that older than him. It’s like “Oppa” in older word “orabeoni”. You can often hear it from Princess, when she calls one of her brothers. So, Koreans tend to use the word “Real” as “Chin” if that person his real sister or brother by blood. For example, chin noona as real sister, chin oppa is real brother. But, just “Nunnim” is like “Noona”, so it means nothing. People nowadays call like that his girlfriend. You must know what means Oppa, it’s like that. I hope you understood that. The youngest one also called Haesoo as nunnim after she saved him. That’s why 4th and 8th prince looked at them strangely. Everyone always hates him, scares him, and avoids him, but only she's not afraid of him. So He seems to have a little bit of a crush on her. He thinks it's interesting that she talks and nags to him in a friendly way.
