2025-08-16 04:44:57 +0000 UTC"Give up on your dreams and die" is a very famous quote in the anime fandom. The entire scene was very sad, but Erwin's speech is very moving. He was genuinely the perfect person to be the scout commander. Even if his reason for doing everything was selfish, in the end, even after being so close, he gave up on his dream and decided to be a sacrifice. No one can say that he never chose the most logical options. He was one of my favorite characters, I was so sad in this ep and the next. Also, Marco's death gave me chills, the way he was betrayed by people he trusted
