2024-11-28 05:31:11 +0000 UTCto simplify my previous comment so basically this drama was rejected by the original film director and Zhao lusi was the female lead at the time with Chen Zheyuan as the male lead but all the other cast left because of this issue that was going on and the online hate of the storyline as well as people were making fun of Zhao lusi cause her previous drama LOVE LIKE THE GALAXY(I love this drama btw) was a huge hit in china it was so successful in all of Asia, because the male lead in that drama is so popular comparable to hidden love main lead they said the drama was going to flop. But Zhao lusi called in a trusted film director crew member, her friends like her brother in hidden love is not really an actor he is a singer but because zhao lusi asked him he did not only acted but also sang the OST with Zhao lusi, the woman that play her mother is the same lady that play her mother in another drama she also ask her, her boy best friend as well as her girl bestfriend which you will see later at university, so basically 90% of the actors in hidden love are people Zhao lusi brought to the crew. She is the one that brought in the clothes to style her character as well as for other cast member, she also buys food for the team during shooting as well as bring in cakes cookies and snacks from her bakery(yes she own a bakery cause she has a sweet tooth). She gave her all in making this drama a sucess and to prove hater wrong not only did hidden love became the most successful modern Chinese drama globally but it always became highest rated Chinese drama on Netflix. This a lesson to anyone who believes in a dream or any thing as long as you focus and give your best and all in that dream it will come true. BTW ZHAO LUSI is the most popular Chinese actress Globally .
