2025-01-23 14:33:12 +0000 UTCyes but so did padmavat and highway like its also wrong to fall in love with your kidnapper but the complexity of emotions is high there what i dont understand is how is gehraiyaan or baar baar dekho in the same league as highway or padmavat tbh i really cant understand that even kapoor and sons arent in same league at one point i can understand why ppl like those but no one can convince me that the complexity of emotions or the level of acting is the same as highway or padmavat

2025-01-23 13:11:07 +0000 UTCFirstly I just need to let you know that a movie is meant to "PORTRAY", yes some movies also have messaging, but that's not a prerequisite for a movie. Gehraiyaan beautifully portrayed complex human emotions, just like Kapoor & Sons by the same makers. It's unfortunate if people instead of understanding the narrative intent, choose to replicate the notion of "heroes" or main characters. Main characters can be flawed, we need cinema to portray all kinds of people, glorifying it is another like Animal did. Gehraiyaan is just a well done drama, so live with it, I guess.
