I could not stop crying. This show broke my heart over Rich and all the others that were murdered by racist A-Holes. It hurts to know that some of this violence actually happened in real life. I have to say that the acting is superb. 😭😭😭😭

Ugh, i hate crazy white patriarchy

Regarding your question: we were actually wondering the same thing because we weren't 100% sure and found this Reddit thread from last week with people discussing it! it was very helpful!! https://www.reddit.com/r/ItTheMovie/comments/1pc76ce/is_mrs_kersh_in_it_2019_real_or_fake/

Those Racist POS. My heart broke over Rich. What he said to Marge about saving the Maiden, I cried. That kid had so much personality, my favorite in the show. Everyone that died. It was heartbreaking.

Chrissy

This episode was so heart breaking. Trying to get myself together and stop crying.

Chrissy

This episode genuinely broke my heart. I love every single one of these kids, but there was something about Rich that I gravitated to, he was so genuine & sweet & kind & wholesome, & wise beyond his years. It literally broke my heart to see him go. I’m actually really upset about it tbh. I’m upset that now we won’t be seeing his cute little face and hearing his funny little quips anymore 😢 I had hoped after ep one, we wouldn’t be losing anymore kids 🥺 they each have something about them that’s so special and lovable - but there was something so extra innocent about Rich. It just breaks my heart 💔 hard to wrap my head around

NOT HEATED RIVALRY PLSSSS

That was so BRUTAL. I've read the book twice. Seen all the other movies. But I totally forgot what happened to the Black Spot until the cucks left and shut the door. I didn't even realize the name of the episode until after. Holy crap. Not to mention it hitting close to home with all the "para-politics" going on in this country right now. How do you 2 live in Texas of all places!! Just be safe forever you two!! ❤️ I'm glad I watched this with you guys. Made it easier.

Gregory Willett

The commentary this show brings up is so hard but so important and hits a little too close to home especially when we got to this episode, but I’m also so glad the show exists in this form because the conversations surrounding it have been so enriching. I dare say I love this show more than I love both movies. Maybe a dumb question — since Ingrid (what a b*tch) saw the deadlights in this episode, I mean was she technically “alive” in the second IT movie? Or was that just IT taking her form? I mean I know Bev’s visit to her included IT as Kirsch, but y’all have read the books so maybe you know she’s alive as herself? I don’t mind being spoiled, I’m just gonna be really really pissed if she, as herself, is alive past this episode. White woman leading to Black people dying…I want to scream.

Amanda Hill

awwww we ❤️❤️ you!!! glad to be the ones to try to help people enjoy media that's hard to watch 🥰

Petty Pumpkins

it was the absolute craziest 3.5 hours of our lives 😂

Petty Pumpkins

someday for sure! maybe before season 2 🥰

What made me just lose it completely was Marge and Will seeing Rich. Marge lost the boy she loved and Will lost his best friend.

Joshua Scott

As soon as I realized the show would be tackling this part of the book, I got depressed. All tge reactors I support on here are watching the show but you two are the only ones I trust with the FIRST watch. I feel safe with you both and I can always count on you guys to really honor the emotional trauma of stuff like this. 💜

Violet

This was one of the more devastating parts of the novel. I had to put it down for like a day.

PhillyJ

What that forehead do!?

Leigh Harrison

I cried harder in this rewatch 😭 It's SO GOOD though!!!!

Robin Beatch

My son, Richard, Rich Scott, Joshua's son. I'm devastated. 😭 I hate all of those racists. Pennywise can kill them. I cheered when he got Mr. Kersh.

Joshua Scott

Any chance of a reaction to the 1990 Miniseries IT?

CDS

The Heated Rivalry mention at the beginning - such high highs for yall in Canada for such low lows this week in Derry 😭 absolute whiplash

jadespademarmalade

I was so relieved yall shared your reaction so darn quick.! I was TRYING to watch it on my own and it was already quite late it was three in the morning here in NYC So I saw yall posted yours and I just immediately watched it. It helped me get through it so thank you again for ALWAYS coming through.! I still sobbed and I am now going to rewatch your reaction to my favorite comfort film Practical Magic❤️🎃❤️

Emily Carmen

Gutted. I haven't cried watching a show in a long while. This episode shattered me. I hated the ending with the military with an all-consuming passion. I actually find the blind following of orders more terrifying than Pennywise. At least Taniel's fine ass turned up for a couple of scenes.

Chad Moore

Poor Richie. Wasent my favorite character but he's still a child and I have a big issue with anything happening to kids in film. I agree with Wes I honestly didn't really care about the kids in the movies.... I just. Don't like those movies lol but yes I was upset they killed Ritch. That general is possessed by Donald Trump.

Jeremy Montanez

This episode was a doozy, but can't wait to see how it all ends next Sunday.

Angry_Pigeon

Richie 😔 😟 🫂
