I have a baby boy who happens to have a form of dwarfism that is similar to Peter Dinklage's, so this rewatch has been emotional for me. The scene where Oberyn is talking to Tyrion about how he visited him as a baby and was expecting a monster and was disappointed because he was just a baby made me bawl. Tyrion means so much to me now. Thanks for the reactions!

I have been wronged, wronged, wrooooonged in love before, but still I could never be so underhanded as to help put the person who broke my heart to death for it. Even the lesser evil of airing her and Tyrion’s intimate, vulnerable moments to the whole courtroom to mock and ridicule is beyond what I could do to the worst of my exes. That’s just too much of a betrayal and I couldn’t do it to anyone, let alone someone I’d shared my heart with. But even before that, Shae went from a character I really liked to one I really couldn’t stand anymore when she kept refusing to see the situation that she, Tyrion and Sansa were in beyond just her own wants and needs. If she really cared for Tyrion and Sansa as much as she claimed, at the least she should’ve stopped making things more difficult for them both (especially Tyrion) by being obstinate and demanding. And by not accepting that this wasn’t something either of them wanted and were instead forced into. Honestly, the best thing for all involved would have been if Shae had taken Varys up on his generous offer and left. In particular, if she really loved Tyrion, she would’ve already understood just how much she was putting him in danger by staying there, and would have accepted leaving was the right thing to do. Instead, it felt like selfish pride that made her (stupidly!) refuse his offer and stay.

It was just as horrifying as I imagined in my head. Probably one of the most brutal things I've ever seen on TV. Pedro had my heart from the second I saw him on this show...sigh.

Everybody knew that the Mountain could only be kept in check by Tywn, and anything he would do would be under the direct or implied permission from Tywin. He did many violent and cruel things, and if Tywin didn’t order them, he put up with them because Mountain was loyal to him, and very powerful/strong fighter whom few could match or defeat. On confessing in public, he would out that he killed Elia and her children on Tywin’s orders. Whether he raped her on his orders or on his volition is unknown. This confession would make Tywin the prime accused for the murder of Elia and her kids. Most people don't understand this and are like "he shouldn't have been so cocky"
