2025-05-28 19:27:34 +0000 UTCthe ending honestly almost ruins the entire movie lol like yes obviously she couldnt get away otherwise it would mess with the canon, but Leatherface is played by a 6'5 bodybuilder... he's not laying down inconspicuously in anyones sedan backseat while HOLDING A CHAINSAW lol. Plus he didnt even rev the chainsaw up, nor would he have had space to turn it in and shove it through the seat hahaha. I know it's a cheesy horror sequel but come on....

Even watching both of your mental states deteriorate throughout the film was literally me in theaters lol To me, the ending just sort of killed the whole film. Like narratively, I get it, but such an easy cop out and way too heavy. Chrissy is my favorite lead of the franchise. She really did do everything she could to save her friends and I just hated how it played out.
