Ok, so I'm clearly binging and I didn't even leave a comment on the last episode because I'm still traumatized. I agree--it's excellent television but it was just total devastation with the town AND Joel! *sobs* Where's my comfort Burt's Bees? Ok, buckled in. Let's roll.

Dark Fate not as good as TLOU but more screentime for him anyway. Even if you think you know the story bc of the games the tv show plays with places and times to where things happen much earlier or much later. I think its great. You certainly can grieve the loss of a fictional character! You're spending time and emotionally investing in them. "Not real" doesn't mean it can't affect you adversely. I STILL cry when I watch the Color Purple. The movie was fictional (idk it may be based on a real story) but the fact that stories like that could have happened to real people. Oh yeah. Feel like Sarah's death affects me the most on multiple viewings (of game and tv show) Joel's (both Pedro and Tony) performance sells it. Great reaction thank y'all!!

2025-04-29 01:42:28 +0000 UTCThis ep was DEVASTATING π I havenβt watched the reaction yet so idk your thoughts, but personally I did not like the way they handled the tent scene. The dialogue for Dina was at times giving βI was just experimenting, so since youβre gay you have to tell me if the kiss was goodβ and I did NOT like that change from the game. It felt out of character for Dina, too. Other than that one scene, I think this ep was great and I hope ppl who were put off by the last ep can now see where the story is going. Itβs about to get wild up in here.
