You guys are also exactly right. Throughout the whole franchise, campyness and it being a fine line between horror and comedy is exactly what hooks a lot of people in these movies. It is just about fun! Also kinda had a crush on the goth dude hahaha. And Death should have been a She to be honest. Excited to watch this!

I love that the director had Tony Todd say whatever he wanted to say in the morgue scene, looking at the camera, speaking to the audience, in the part where he tells them to live their life and good luck. His last ever scene. The deaths were fantastic in this and finally finding out who Tony Todd’s character was a nice add to the movie
