I was so infuriated lmaooo. she was and remains my fave and i'm glad a friend convinced me to give the show another shot because i really do love it so much. the theatrics, the dialogue, the music, the cinematography the gay. <3

2025-08-04 07:17:36 +0000 UTC@40 minutes my heart breaks for her so much in this episode I literally rarely cry at a show or a film And usually only for animals But her scenes this episode truly were beautifully well done Not over the top on her part And very realistic Her part in this show is truly underrated and I sincerely feel she is one of the best characters and the strongest Gina Torres was also married to Laurence Fishburne which is why I suspect her role and his role with her was so beautifully done and so real I sincerely enjoy their dynamic

Because 1) if you haven't you simply MUST, the visuals are glorious and despite J-Lo's acting reputation, this is such a good freaky film and 2) the vivisection of Beverly here feels like a nod to a scene in The Cell, and once you see it, you will know what I'm talking about!

2025-07-30 22:04:56 +0000 UTCi like to joke that this show “straightbaits” with alana lol. the flower/tree display is so morbidly beautiful to me, that a man that destroyed nature was killed in that way. it’s definitely my “favorite” of hannibal’s “artistic displays” (if it’s not too screwed up to say that lmao). and they really have nothing tangible on hannibal right now so alana’s feelings (though definitely guided in part by her affection for hannibal) are understandable. she knows for a fact that will tried to have him killed and with no real evidence pointing towards him at this point, it’s mostly understandable that she feels the way she does. plus will IS manipulating and lying to certain people, he has been this entire season (though that is also understandable ofc lol)

He was totally using her in this case. He drugged her so she would sleep through the night and provide him an alibi for Gideon. He also knew that getting involved with her would hurt Will, so it was kind of like a 2 for 1 special. 🤪 Fun Fact: Mads Mikkelsen got really sick after filming the scene where Matthew Brown tries to kill him. Something about the temperature on set and having to be wet the whole time.

Still emotional over Beverly. She was my fave too, and when this first aired the fandom was PISSED (rightfully so) that she got "fridged" (literally - he froze her!).

Yeah, Hugh has been in theatre productions, he was in Venus in Fur and some others. The bees were very Candyman (Hellraiser's Clive Barker directed the original, it was really good). Beverly's onto Hannibal, that's dangerous - Will was onto him / the Copycat last season and now he's in jail because Hannibal liked him too much to kill him. I love Bella, and I love the side she brings out in Jack. Beverly's too smart for her own good. Stag statue's still in Hannibal's office I guess. Poor Bella, Hannibal did her so dirty, and all over a freaking coin toss - he deserves that slap and worse. Don't go down there Bev, bad idea. Noo... 💔 Ep5: RIP Beverly, you were the best, and now I'm widowed 💔. I'm still mad about it, 10yrs later. The glass display was very reminiscent of a scene from The Cell with Jennifer Lopez, great movie if you guys haven't seen it. Gideon, glad to see someone's still alive. Freddie does look like a Frankie. Love Matthew Brown, Will needed a real friend after Beverly. Happy Pride! 🌈 It's always Pride somewhere ✨️ - I'm in Canada 🇨🇦 and here it actually spans all summer throughout the different provinces (like US states). This is one of my favorite eps this season, despite Beverly (I'll stop talking about her next ep, for this ep I'm holding a grudge). Nice to see Hannibal get taken down a few pegs/litres. Ep6: Ginger kitty 🐈. Love the tree guy, probably my favorite murder art in the whole show 💐. Please Hannibal, you love Will's dark place, you want to live there. Sassy Will, love it. Gideon's getting his own revenge on Chilton, shooting his story down. Finger food, lol. Alana and Hannibal is cursed, he just drugs her drink and uses her as an ailibi - I don't blame Alana at all, she thinks she knows him so well, Hannibal is just manipulating everyone as usual. Hannibal ate the census taker with fava beans and a nice Chianti. Gideon got what he asked for I guess. Hi Miriam!
