2025-07-31 04:29:02 +0000 UTC⚡️Spoilers⚡️ Ep9: Will talking about his reckoning looking like he's gonna cry, clearly conflicted - in the script at the end of Hannibal's spiel he was supposed to say 'I love you Will.' The show's use of imagery and showing character's internal states is really amazing. Will just likes killing bad people, is that so wrong? The killer's a furry, lol. This ep is just as fucked up as the last ep just in a different way. Will and Hannibal flirting through murder talk and death threats. Or course Hannibal treated him, and encouraged him. Chey's spot on, Hannibal wants to connect with people like him, and in Will he sees the possibility of an equal, partner in crime, Muder Husband, etc. NBC wouldn't let them say Margot is a lesbian so they had to use euphemisms like 'button-stitching' and 'wrong proclivities for parts.' 'How many have there been?' Will's so jealous, he wants to be special. Not Buster - none of the dogs die, getting hurt is another thing...but they're all fine in the end. Hannibal never gets a redemption arc, all the people around him just get worse. Ep10: Will going feral, nice. Victorian hand-touching. Will's 1st murder art, so proud! Hannibal's loving it, Jack's so unimpressed. Freddie calling it like it is. Yeah, Mason was definitely threatening her, he sucks (and the actor's a trash human too, they didn't know that at the time though). When a lesbian wants to sleep with a man you have to wonder why. Will imagining the stagman at the end, kind of a love/hate thing going on. What's crazy is you can edit the sex scene so that it looks like it's just Will and Hannibal doing it, I know because people on YouTube have, so it was filmed that way deliberately. Chey's instincts, someone's getting pregnant. The most awkward dinner, Hannibal just wants to flirt with Will. It's probably better to realize that there are very few really good people in this show and Will is not one of them (neither is Jack really), lots of morally grey characters (and Hannibal who's just straight up evil, Mads played him like he's the Devil). Your guys' faces at Will's dark side, Hannibal's a bad influence.

2025-07-30 15:31:33 +0000 UTC⚡️Spoilers⚡️ Ep8: I love this ep so much. Hannibal, fawning over Will's fish and having him to dinner after Will tried to kill him, what a simp. Hannibal's just having fun with whatever's going on. This is the episode where Mads told Bryan he should stop smoking, one of the most fucked up things in the series. Mason, hate that guy - he was drinking tear martinis. Love Margot though, loved her in Ginger Snaps. Alana gets to take Bedelia's place in being the one Hannibal won't stop talking about Will to - Will as pillow talk, poor Alana. I think the bird was put to sleep temporarily and put into the lungs similar to how Hannibal did with Abigail's ear to Will, and taking the stuff out of the throat let more air in and woke it up, then the bird clawed/tore its way out of the lungs and flew out...starlings are so cute. The show was filmed in Toronto, Canada, so odds are she was a local actor like Jimmy and Beverly were. The show Hannibal is uniquely weird, I've never seen another show quite like it. As a bunny owner the bunnies in cages piss me off - you can't keep bunnies in cages, they need at least a large/high exercise pen with a rug so they can run/hop around, and a lot of fresh hay in a litterbox with Aspen wood shavings, and lots of things to dig/chew so they don't get bored. What does Will have to lie about? Trying to entrap Hannibal with Jack maybe... Will said in the 1st ep of S1 that he didn’t find Hannibal interesting and Hannibal said he would, which definitely turned out to be true. It's not stated explicitly on the show but in the book Mason is a pedophile, so that's probably why Margot tried to kill him. Peter's so precious. The parallels between Will/Hannibal and Peter/Ingram, and also the differences. The social worker deserved what he got and worse, I wish Will shot him (and so does Will, Hannibal murder-blocking him). Sorry about the long comments, I just love the rest of this season and S3.

"Su-zakana" is probably my favorite one-off episode, and "Peter ... is your social worker in that horse?" is the greatest line of dialogue of all time! Also, fun little detail -- the bird that comes out of Sarah's corpse is a starling. :) The reveals about what happened to Miriam -- and her reaction to Chilton -- are absolutely wild, and would probably never work if we hadn't seen what Hannibal was able to do to Will. Such great storytelling. It is absolutely insane that anyone could believe Chilton was capable of committing the Ripper murders.

2025-07-30 05:17:49 +0000 UTCwes, you’re right, that line in episode 8 is a callback to s1! in episode 1, will says “i don’t find you that interesting” in response to something hannibal says, and hannibal says, “you will”. and what will meant by “you don’t deserve to be the one to kill him” is that peter is better than being a killer and doesn’t deserve to become one. “i can feed the caterpillar, and i can whisper through the chrysalis, but what hatches follows its own nature and is beyond me” is probably my favorite line in this whole show

So great to see Will out of prison. And considering Hannibal was the one that got him out by leaving more evidence right after Will tried to kill him he definitely missed Will to an unhinged extent (this was when I realized Hannibal is stupid for Will, obviously Bedelia realized it before me and dipped), doesn't justify anything but that's something to think about. I like to think the tree guy's flowers were for Will. 'All of this has been my design,' love that whole scene, so weirdly beautiful. So he's Hannibal now not Dr Lecter huh Will, only took 1.5 seasons. Aww, Will's so happy to see his dogs, they're so happy to see him. Yeah, Hannibal's a terrible friend, his emotional intelligence is bad. Yeah Will, shoot him, just a little bit for fun. I think Will didn't shoot him because Hannibal refused to look him in the eyes as he died, it lacked intimacy (especially with a gun, maybe with his hands next time). Framing Chilton is so funny, the guy can't even eat meat and almost puked at the gore Hannibal left behind. There's no way Jack bought it when Chilton gave up, he looked so pitiful not like some mastermind serial killer. Given how Chilton tends to record things he probably does the same with his psychological interviews so Hannibal probably hacked his computer for the recordings, at least that's my theory. Will in the salmon shirt of seduction, he's the lure - therapy, dates, whatever you want to call them.

I know this show is about Hannibal eating people and the power of Will's mind, but those two are just to goood for this show. They casted the perfect duo and the actors are amazing.
