This isn’t a spoiler, but just to whet your appetite: The main thing I love in the show is the characters and the humor, and I expected that. But as the seasons continue on, how rich the world building gets, the high quality of the production and special fx and the wonderful heart it has really pleasantly surprised me as well! Some of the subtitles are misspelled but are instead spelled like french words and there's a bit where Vlad is bidding on a table that is for some reason missing. Good reaction though!!

So wryly hilarious and the writing, acting and characters are superb. Absolutely adore this franchise. You’re gonna have fun with this one. 🖤

From what I remember, the old familiar was told that he bought the wrong postage for the coffin, and the vampire ended up being adrift for two years before reaching New Zealand. And the familiar apologized and then immediately asked if he was going to be turned into a vampire soon because he's waited all these years for his master to return, or something like that.
