2025-09-11 13:25:15 +0000 UTCBarring Paul Rudd and Mitchell Ryan (the original Burke Devlin on "Dark Shadows"), this Halloween movie is a blank space in my memory. I started to recall events as I watched along with y'all. Jamie deserved so much better. Living in South Georgia, I long for fall weather and I liked the feel of that in the movie. It's a detail that is often missed in modern movies/TV shows set around Halloween and Christmas. Honestly, I didn't mind the cult side of the story. There was a Lovecraftian atmosphere about it that I found appealing. Overall, however, I found it to be poorly executed (if you'll pardon the pun). It's always better when an unstoppable menace is a mystery. At least for me. The unknown is scarier. Yes, I would love to see a Ranking Michael Myers' masks video!
