This was such a blast to revisit with y'all. It's literally the perfect sequel in my book with a natural character progression for Laurie. I love how Donald Pleasence was honored in the opening scenes, which added layers of foreboding and tension. The inclusion of Janet Leigh as "Norma" and the Psycho references are brilliantly cheeky and I love it. Can we give a shout out to the underrated icon that is Ronny's wife? Final Girls 101 with Laurie teaching -- sign me up! Does Viagra manufacture knifes? Cause Michael's was harder and longer than ever before. I do love the movie's ending. Again, I think it was the perfect way to wrap everything up. The follow up does not exist in my head canon. Yes, please do a Psycho rewatch.

The fact that we got the Janet Leigh and JLC interaction in the movie was a cherry on top! Really liked the entire cast. Just wish it was a little darker and more serious. Eagerly waiting for ya'll to react to Halloween: Resurrection. It's a guilty pleasure of mine! The mask and the soundtrack in that one are much better in my opinion ๐ช ๐

2025-10-14 21:41:00 +0000 UTCFirst off yes I agree the best sequel to Halloween after 2 unlike the trilogy they kept Laurie and Michael siblings which is the plot I agree with because it makes sense. Also I'm sure y'all know that Janet Leigh is JLC mother and yes when she walks away from Laurie, that was the car, her walk and the score from psycho. Janet Leigh has the exact same voice she did in 1960 and is Always so beautiful. Y'all should watch touch of evil. Id love for you guys to rewatch that film, being it's the perfect horror film.
