2025-11-05 19:53:58 +0000 UTCI saw this opening night, and my friend and I were legit clutching each other for 90% of the film in anxiety and terror. I laughed. I cried (twice). I screamed at least once. Finn and his arc, the way the film examines and explores trauma and PTSD and addiction and unhealthy vs healthy coping mechanisms and siblings and friends and holy fuck I really liked it. This movie got me to finally watch the original Nightmare on Elm Street.

I liked that it wasn't just a retread of the first one. It had a wholly unique perspective. PS-Did you guys recognize the dad from Hannibal? He played the always famous Peter-as in "Peter, is your social worker in that horse?" 😂
