Iam not the best when it comes to lore, but didn’t the face tattoo came after the highborn as a tradition to mark the adulthood of nightelves ? And are part of the nature society , which the highborn refuse. Just wanted to point it out, if someone likes the looks it’s always possible to say she did get them afterwards
