With its second showing on the poll, the Gothic Mansion won out by a landslide. Somehow the Astral Portals seem to finish second nearly every time.
For this theme I will create a huge map of an old gothic mansion, partially in ruins. It will have a darker feel, with gargoyles and aged yet elegant furniture. The I'll use an interesting layout, creating secret passages and varied room sizes. There will be the classic rooms, dilapidated areas, chambers with oddities and there should be an accompanying dungeon. In all it will probably be three levels: top, ground and dungeon. I may do a snowy alternate along with a nighttime original.
