Map Poll Results for January 2022
Added 2021-12-14 01:59:38 +0000 UTCI wanted to start by giving a shout out to all of the awesome Patrons that took the time to cast their vote. You are the ones that helped choose the next map theme. I appreciate you all taking the time to guide me in the right direction. A special Thank-You goes out to: ChefsSlaad, Silent, Cristian S. Hill, JoshuaMuster, Dan Gragert, Geo Czar, Chris Karper, Michael Gusta, Callum Langan-Jonas, Blake Dennis, yl01, DMN_Good, Kaitlin, Dylan Gault, Wiesel, Jason Hebert, j gemmell, Kritina Chun, Bobby Montgomery, DNPengu, Brad Hall, Erich Whitmer, Darren Powers, and Luther McGrath.
It was a close one this time, but in a surprise turn, the THIEVES' GUILD won out. The Wizard's College was a close second, and indeed it did have a higher percentage in the poll. But, with more total votes, the Thieves' Guild is going to the be the first theme of the new year. I envision a proper thieves' guild found in the heart of the city. A building of two floors with a sewer dungeon. The ground floor will be a façade that acts as a tavern of sorts, but is really a clandestine fence. The rest will have all the trope guild rooms: meeting hall, barracks, store rooms, illegal armory, questionable laboratory, gambling rooms, a study for forgery. There will be trapped treasures, hidden hallways and secret chambers.
The exact vote count for the poll went as follows:
Thieves' Guild = 25
Wizard's College = 23
Astral Portals = 4
Elemental Temple = 3
Thank-you to all my Patrons, I look forward to the new themes coming in 2022.
Long Live D&D!
Mike
