In an interesting turn of the vote, we have a new theme for July 2022: The Underdark. After being on the list for many months, it was the clear choice, with 29% of voters choosing it, it got a total of 17 votes. It was a mixed spread for the other choices, as you can see from the tally list below. Keeping true to the Underdark theme, I will make a map set that includes both natural caverns mixed with subterranean outposts (of drow and/or duergar construction.) There should be stalactites/stalagmites, iridescent faun, and an underground river in the caves. I'll do a smaller outpost in an open cave, maybe with a matching dungeon. In another scene I plan on doing a larger fortification. I will use a darker backdrop with lights that pop (violets and greens) using similar techniques from the Prison Dungeon. Oh, and maybe a grand entrance outside of the city (in the sea cliffs or something). If anyone has any ideas for the set, let me know in the comments below.
