The next map theme is going to be the World Tree. I foresee a massive tree battlemap, both interior and exterior. The main trunk will feature a spiral layout, with multiple tiers. Higher up the branches may have rooms and corridors within. On the outside there should be some platforms with rope bridges. And some exotic fruits or/or flowers. It should have a grandiose fey effect to it, maybe at its heart a magical force of some kind. As for the alternate, I'm thinking of giving it a more autumn tone, maybe its partially dormant or even dying off.

There are some amazing concepts, like the World Tree, that I would have never thought up on my own. Thank You all for your continued influence and inspiration. Now that gives me some great ideas. I already have the tree going, but now I'm gonna redo some stuff and really make it a whole planar area. I'll see if I can capture the grandeur of Yggdrasil.

Passing the crown, like you say the tree may be dying and once it passes to a new king/queen it blooms again. I'll give you 50 more ideas tomorrow
