The map theme for the month of July 2024 is going to be the Cityscape - Foreign District. Another addition to the city maps is next. This part of out city will be more eclectic, with a small park surrounded by prayer gates and an icon in the center. Unique shops, ancestral restaurants, and non-traditional hostels reflecting various cultures are hallmarks. Minarets, landmarks and other points of interest will be sprinkled throughout. For a variant, I could do an extra-planar alternate (like the one from the Industrial District). Or I could do a more Modern variant. What do you all think for alternates? What else should be included in the Foreign District? Let me know in the comments below. Always happy to get extra details to throw into these city maps.

Total Vote Counts
4 Seasons = 48
Planar Ruins = 21
Foreign District = 58

Thank You again to everyone that took the time to make their choice. With 127 total votes counted, you have been heard. This poll and your votes have become the driving force behind this site. It is so inspiring to be a part of the great gaming community we have here. Excited to add more scenes to the cityscape.

Long Live D&D

Oh nice, I like the first idea. But the 2nd idea is gold; A night time faire with central bright colorful lights, that would be a great variant! Thanks Gabriel!

Maybe for alternate, you could do ghost town? Like, the whole place is just abandoned but without much damage (since that'd be a lot of work). Or a night festival. Some main part of the district has a Faire going with bright lights but the rest of the map is dark.
