It was a tough race, with only 4 votes separating the top two. But after long adieu, the Canal District has been chosen! I have not forgotten all the helpful comments about this theme that have been posted over the last several months. I will do my best to create a Venice-like cityscape scene, with stylized canal waterways, docks and open courtyards. Of course there will be tall buildings with balconies and rooftops to jump around on. There should be a few building interiors for exploration scattered in. What other details should be included? Let me know in the comments below, I'll be starting on this this week. The total vote tally is listed below for anyone that is curious.
