Not just because of idol image, rather due to the gang stigma attached to it, many broadcasting stations would censor tattoos - it's the same in Japan. Because JK's is a whole as sleeve, it looks intense and look most like how gang members would get tatted up, they seem to blur those out more intentionally, while his smaller icon tattoos are ok.
