Evan felt her neck tightly constricted by a rope. She tried to struggle, but her hands were bound behind her back, preventing her from touching the rope. Even if her hands were free, it would likely be futile. Her legs swung back and forth in the air as she desperately searched for anything to support herself, but these actions were doomed to be in vain.
