What’s stopping you?

As a gainer or in just your everyday life, there will always be challenges. Many times, as a gainer, an issue will look like it will prevent you from getting bigger. And it’s easy for these things to make you stall or hit a plateau. But many times, you just need to figure out a way to get around the issue, to push past it and get to the next level.
If you look at obstacles as a puzzle to solve, it can help you figure out a solution rather than having it cause you to see it as the end and give up.
Some situations aren’t mainstream issues and can feel like no one has a solution that’s easy to google and get a simple answer. And sometimes you have to be ready to alter how you do things that may not seem “normal”. But you need to accept a new “normal” for you to live as a fatter, growing person.
I have had many such issues as I gained more and more weight and needed a solution so I could keep getting bigger.
My pants are a perfect example.
As I started getting to a size where my belly was becoming larger and starting to push downward and hang over my pants, I experienced my first challenge. My belt buckle was starting to dig into my expanding swollen belly. When I first felt the discomfort, my immediate thought was it was a sign I’d gotten too fat and this would be why I’d have to stop gaining. But then I wondered, what could I do to fix the problem. Was there a way to alleviate the way my belt buckle dug in? Are there belts without buckles, more elastic belts? After thinking a bit it hit me - why does the buckle have to be at the front? I realized I could move my belt buckle off to the side where it didn’t come into contact with my belly. It didn’t look like how others wore their belts, but it solved my problem and I could continue to gain. Instead of taking the discomfort as a roadblock, I figured out a different way around the issue.
As I continued to pack on more and more weight, I found more road blocks and each one was a puzzle to solve.
When the metal hardware of the front fly was uncomfortable, I removed it and sewed the fly closed. Then as I got fatter this closed fly was irritating my underbelly, so I figured out a way to open that fly back up and sew in stretchy fabric to allow the fly to flex around my bigger swollen gut. I then had to move to undershirt suspenders as no belt was comfortable. Each time these changes allowed me keep growing bigger and fatter.
Many times you need to reframe your thought of what is the norm to accommodate your evolving, expanding body.
I’m too fat for restaurant booths so I make sure when I’m out with a crowd I’m the person in front of the group who tells the host “We need a table with chairs“. I’ll try and switch out chairs without arms if available, find my go-to restaurants based on if the have tables that move instead of bolted to the floor - it’s strategy, It’s a puzzle.
To grow to a fattened and overfed size that goes beyond society’s norms means you need to blaze your own wider path. If something isn’t working, don’t take it as a barrier, don’t wait for someone else to fix it. Look at the puzzle in front of you and get creative - how can you lessen or eliminate the problem so you can continue to explore your ultimate, deep seeded need to grow bigger and be the happier, fatter person you want to become.
Don’t let things stop you. Figure it out, work the puzzle and keep on gaining.
