The Young Omega’s - One Shot

“Okay team, rally up in for mission review,” Red Wing called the group over the intercom. I was nervous, this being my first real mission with a team and all, but excited. The Young Omegas, while being a new team, was already rising in notoriety on a national level. Of course, the stigma of being a young super-team wasn’t lost on any of us; we knew we would always be overshadowed by Alpha Squadron.

Alpha Squadron was the world’s greatest superhero team. Their members consisted of gods, wonders, aliens and monsters. Lady Justice, the god among men; Gladiator, the warrior of legend; Neon, the energy master; Eagle, the skilled and geared-up brawler; Mud-Thing, the monster from below; Splitstream, the fastest man alive; and Dancer, the elegant and deadly assassin.

Still, many of us, including myself, were associated with Alpha Squadron members, which helped the team’s perception. While Alpha Squadron refused to endorse the group, we didn’t mind. It spoke to the spirit of the team; rebellious, hungry, eager to leave the shadow of our mentors.

My name is Kathrine Kebble, alias: Acrobat. Like Red Wing, I didn’t actually have powers. I was trained against my will in the same program as Dancer before Alpha Squadron brought them to justice. Many of my sisters died in the battle, and many wanted to leave that life behind. But not me. I saw what Dancer had become and wanted to be like her, so she took me under her wing, and I became Acrobat. Now, at 19, I figured it was time to come into my own, and that was around when Red Wing came to me about his new ‘teen team’ idea.

Red Wing is the most famous of our group and a subtitle leader. He is the protege of Eagle and has been training with him since he was only seven years old. I have to give the kid credit; he managed to scrape together a pretty formidable team of teen superheroes consisting of Rocket, the kid cannonball; Beyondress, the supernatural sorceress; Scales, the size-changing lizard-man; Blue Lagoon, the water-controlling half-merman; Miss Swift, the fastest girl alive (but second fastest person); and of course, myself, Acrobat, the trained assassin.

Everyone gathered around the table-screen that Red Wing had installed in our meeting room. I was the last to arrive, and Red Wing looked up at me when I did.

“Ah, yes. Everyone, welcome Acrobat to the team,” he started, somewhat sternly. Red Wing always was a bit too serious; I suppose he picked that up from his adopted father.

“Wow, like, Dancer’s Acrobat?” Miss Swift asked me.

I blushed. “Yep, that’s me!”

With a whoosh of air blowing my hair up, she was suddenly beside me. “Oh my god! It’s so lovely to meet you!”

“It’s nice to meet you too! It’s nice to meet all of you; I’m surprised some of us haven’t met yet, given our-” I started saying, but Red interrupted and raised his hand.

“I hate to cut you short, Acrobat, but we do have a mission,” Red started, and I closed my mouth. “I started this team because not enough was getting done. Alpha Squadron can only do so much, and there are some situations below their threshold of action. That’s where we come in. Every single one of you has been listed in Eagles database of potential future candidates for the Squadron. You’re all capable. Let’s use this mission as a baseline; show them what we can do outside of their shadows.”

I felt a warmth in my tummy, as well as in my pants. I won’t lie, I have a huge crush on Red. Watching him lead the team made me all tingly inside; something about his no-BS approach turned me on like nothing else could. He looked right at me and I bit my lip, then looked away.

“Our target is Doctor Dreadful. It appears he has quietly dug his claws into a small town about thirty miles from Capital City. Beyondress, you’ve encountered Dreadful before?” Red asked.

“Yes, about two years ago when I was an apprentice of Doctor Beyond. Dreadful uses common spells for the most part, but it’s clear his magical abilities are growing,” Beyondress spoke with a ghastly echo in her voice, and her eyes glew under her dark hood. “This grip on the town worries me, but I do not think the spell will be too difficult to break.”

Red nodded and continued. “We’ll each have a roll. Beyondress, you and Scales are going to work to locate the Doctor. We believe he will be in the towns most central building, the church. It’ll likely be protected by a sheid, but if Rocket can blast through the shield we should be able to enter easily. Start at the church, but if he’s not there, pan out and start searching. Swift and Blue, you two are working evac. Get the townsfolk away from the town and out of the reach of Dreadful.”

“Got it,” Miss Swift acknowledged with a salute.

“Acro and I will be dealing with the Husks. They’re hallow monsters conjured by Dreadful. Shouldn’t be a hugh challenge to punch and kick through, but they appear to be in gread numbers so be careful not to get overwhelmed.”

I nodded to Red, fighting to contain a smile that wanted to creep up my lips. He wanted to work with me! I couldn’t believe it. It made me all nervous, and with the nerves, came a sudden urge to pee.

“Right. Let’s roll out.” Red said, and turned to leave the room. Everyone followed, and I hesitantly looked to the bathroom.

“Hey Acro, you coming?” Swift asked me. I nodded and followed. I wasn’t THAT desperate, and it was probably just nerves anyway…

When Red Wings craft landed us just outside the town, I knew I was in trouble. The flight over, while only a mere ten minutes, was enough to bring me to the point of unreasonable desperation. I clenched my jaw and looked at the town ahead. It was gloomy and dark, despite the nearby city being bright and sunny.

Beyondress walked to the town gates and pressed her staff against an invisible barrier that fluttered like water when she touched it.

“There is a shield here too. I could bring it down quietly but-” She started, but Rocket interrupted.

“No matter. Firing up!” He said proudly, and his body began to glow with a white, fiery heat. He began to float, and after a moment of buildup, Rocket blasted his body into the shield. Or rather, through the sheild, I should say. The barrier fell and on the other side was hundreds of the so-called ‘husks’. White, faceless humanoids with crusty skin that made my nose cringe.

“You all know your jobs, go!” Red Wing commanded, and the team took action. He lept at the Husks, and I followed. He was right, they went down easy. One quick kick was enough to break their skin and reveal their hollow interiors. But it wasn’t the husks that were a worry, my bladder was beginning to ache badly.

Suddenly, a sharp pain struck my center, and I yelped.

“Acrobat, are you okay?” Red called over for me. I blushed, knowing that nothing hurt me but my own bladder, and replied.

“Fine!”

“Red, the civilians are clear of the town.” Blue Lagoon announced over our ear-pieces.

“Good, You and Swift stay with them and make sure they stay safe. Beyondress, any word on the Doc?”

While kicking through another husk, i felt a small spurt of pee escape my bladder into my tactical uniform. I looked down to access the damage, but a husk came out of nowhere and managed to tackle me.

“We’ve got no sight of the Doctor in here Red, there is an energy trail that leads to the forest but it’s oddly suspicious…” Beyondress replied, and Red touched his ear.

“Follow it. Take Rocket. Scales, stay at the Church in case he comes back,” Red commanded, then he saw me. “Acro!”

The husk, while hallow, were surprisingly heavy. It pinned me, knocking the wind from my chest. It’s body thrashed, putting more and more pressure on my bladder. Another spurt escaped, then another, and then…

“Back off!” Red kicked the head off the husk on top of me and followed up by blasting through all other ones around me. He pulled the headless body off me.

“Are you okay? Oh…” Red asked, concerned at first, then surprised. I knew what he was seeing. My bladder had given out, and I was fully pissing myself there in front of him. He stared at me, unsure what to do as I looked up to the sky and continued peeing. The warmth of my pee made me cringe as the puddle underneath my butt grew. My grey pants were now saturated with a large wet stain. Finally, I found the courage to talk.

“You’re not going to kick me off the team for this, are you?” I asked.

Red smiled for once, but before he could answer, there was another voice.

“Oh, that will be the least of your worries I think,” the voice said, and suddenly, out of thin air, Doctor Dreadful appeared in front of us. Red and I glared at him as Red pulled me to my feet.

“Well well well, if it isn’t Baby Squadron. Where are your super mommies and daddies?” Dreadful mocked.

“We don’t need them,” Red scowled, then pushed his comm. “Team, to me. Dreadful’s here.”

Doctor Dreadful laughed. “You don’t need them, hm? One of your members just peed in her pants like a little girl. What do you say to that?”

“Don’t make it a thing Doc, release this town and we might pull a few punches,” I demanded.

“Hmm, some big words from a big baby. Let’s fix that, shall we?” Doctor Dreadful waved his hands and suddenly I began to change. A sparkly pink swirl surrounded me, and as it intensified, so to did my transformation. Red looked on in awe, not sure what to do.

When the dust cleared, Dreadful laughed at his good work.

“Oh my god, what did you do?” Red asked him, shocked. The rest of the team appeared; firstly Miss Swift with Blue Lagoon, then followed by Rocket and the rest. They all looked at me, speechless.

My tactical uniform had gone and was replaced by a bright pink onesie. My hair had gone from ponytail to pigtails, and there was a large pacifier planted firmly in my mouth. The strangest feeling of all was the massive diaper that practically engulfed my midsection. I spat out my soother and tried to speak, but all that came out was baby babble. When I realized I couldn’t make words, I began to cry.

“What did you do!?” Red asked, more aggressive this time.

“A little curse, of course, but a difficult one to remove I assure you. She is not a baby in everything but her body. Baby speak, baby walk, baby bladder, baby bottom. Perfect for the Baby Squadron, dont you think?” Dreadful laughed through his explanation.

“Release her, now!” Red demanded.

“No, I wont. You may have the town back though, I’ve had my fun. Bye!” Dreadful said. Red charged at him for a punch, but the man turned to mist before he could impact. Everyone remained silent for a moment, staring at me wailing.

Swift walked over to my spat out pacifier and used her speed to clean it off. Then, she shoved it in my mouth, and I stopped crying.

“Beyondress, what can we do about her?” Red asked.

“This is dark, dark magic. I know no simple fix. It will take some time.” She replied.

“How long?”

I looked up, eager for the answer.

“A few months probably. I must research and aquire the skills necessary to remove the curse.”

“So, what do we do for now?” Swift asked, and everyone was thinking the same question. They stared at me, scratching their heads, and all I could do was sit, as I felt a large bowel movement fill the back of my magic diaper.

“Well, I guess we’re babysitting squad now.”
