Should we sponsor a Pokémon team???

We want to leave it up to you guys if you would like to see us invest in this team! Here's a rough breakdown of what would go into this sponsorship:
Investment amount: ~$1k
Length: 1 month
Deliverables (what DSG gets): 1x event vlog, obnoxious DSG Patreon promotion at the event
Make your case on why we should invest or not in the comments or in the Board of Directors channel in our discord! If we get 100 votes on yes and yall make solid arguments, then we'll invest. We are actually letting you guys make a high level executive decision. Looking forward to hearing your responses!

Love to see it sponsored and think it's fair that if they win a portion of the prize pool there should be a return.

However, if it were for a longer term thing, I believe something closer to Toast interests in terms of TCG (Hearthstone, Marvel snaps) may be more suitable to get back toward the TCG world. Pokemon TCG right now is kinda coming out of nowhere, so the factors going for it are just curiosity, Pokemon IP, and possibly bringing new people to the DSG community i guess. It's fine for short terms, but probably can't build anything long term on it (unless the person is either crazy good and win the thing, or a god content creator). I don't know how is the HS scene right now, but that for instance could trigger the nostalgia factor pretty hard and perhaps would have a better chance at lasting longer. "Back in my day, all that you needed is Ragnaros to hit the right RNG :grandpa_emoji:".
