I just hope it's well made and not too much for newbies if you know what I mean. Maybe I'm worrying over nothing in which sorry and please ignore me😁😆

2024-07-10 22:37:57 +0000 UTCimo the taylor one is structured nicely and more palatable for a reaction but the purple snow one is up dated to 2024 the only 2 issues i have with the purple snow is it has a few spoilers but its also not too much to ruin the song for future reactions. and she says spring day meaning is a theory when it WAS confirmed by both jin and pdogg one of bts main producers the thing is they can not flat out say yes due to how sensitive the topic is and people responsible are still working in the government so potentially can cause harm to bts or their families if directly saying yes. but the confirmed as much as possible and more importantly the victims families said it is about the tragedy so their saying it and many koreans agreeing is the bottom line so its kinda disrespectful to still say theory because realistically bts will never be able to say a direct yes. but besides that the purple snow guide is much more updated and better. i just found it this week and watched it before choosing and commenting cause i was gonna pick Taylors too but purple snow is the best option. if you wanna do both that would be great but if its too much for all of you its best to stick to purple snow. everyone needs to be present for it so theyre not lost in other reactions and you all wont have to fill others in on what you learned cause you wont be able to remember everything even watching it 5 times over so make sure to plan to react when all of you can watch it together in full. and pause and rewind when you need to if any of you need to reread or resee something this goes for your regular reactions too just make sure when you pause you go back a few seconds before you play again so youre not taken out of the songs and confused with the next lines if you miss the ones you pause on. :) also heavily recommend reacting to boracity magazines videos and bbygangmags videos in-between so you can learn more about stuff related. like about the music industry in korea and u.s how it works and affects bts how media's reporting on kpop and bts is full of misinformation and uses asian stereotypes and generalizations to make kpop look horrible compared to other music industrys especially the american one. i suggest starting with this video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rBsZhHPA7t8 bts vs kpop a video essay by bbygangmag

The other one is great for more in depth information about their careers. Maybe break up the long one into multiple videos so you aren't overwhelmed with info. Either way, both have merit and if you watch both, you will get majority of the important info you need in order to know BTS.

Taylor's video, although from 2022, is informative, interesting, and the editing is amazing. Besides, it explains the most basic information about BTS as a group, and you can learn more about the rest later by simply watching the solo works of the members

Why does any reactor need to know anything that happened during Chapter 2 - which is focused on the individual projects - before they learn about the group? Taylor's 2-video plan makes a lot more sense than a 2+ hour video nobody has the time to watch, let alone reaction channels, and that is also already outdated since it can't include Jimin's second album, the Jimin/JK variety show, anything Jin and hobi do between now and June 2025, anything else that will be released that we don't even know about.

You could watch the Taylor guide now, and the 'Purple Snow' one later because while it's up-to-date and has great info, it could also be tiring to watch (if you're not that interested) since it's really long. If they do all of this, they will be spending six hours reacting to one video that would be MUCH better spent actually getting to know the members as a GROUP. There is time enough later to delve into the Chapter 2/individual project stuff - I mean for gosh sakes, they were 10 YEARS into their careers before Chapter 2 started. it's not an introduction it's a whole biography. Even their own 8-episode biography wasn't much longer than that. They might as well watch Beyond the Stars.

I think that Taylor's guide is better quality but now it's missing a lot of information. I think you should watch the Purple snow guide, but if you know you won't be engaged for the whole video (or you're gonna break it up into a ton of parts), I would just do the Taylor guide. Chopping the guide up will mess with the flow. Really, I feel that watching both would be best. Taylor guide now then watching the other a little later (or however soon you feel up to it).

The Taylor guide is a little older (released early 2023), so it doesn't have recent information, but it's concise and a great summary of necessary data. The 'Purple Snow' one has A LOT of information and could be overwhelming, but if y'all are up for it, it's a good choice. It's UP TO DATE but includes snippets/spoilers of many of their songs (just letting you know). Y'all can watch that guide in two separate sittings (though I recommend just reacting to it in one go) if watching it at once is overwhelming. Reacting to both is also an option and would give you double the knowledge, but doing that would be very time-consuming, so not doing so is understandable. ❗ But things to note when reacting: - ARMY prioritizes authenticity and respect. We love enthusiasm, but if it's obvious that the people watching aren't sincerely paying attention to the video and doing it for the views they're getting, the reaction video is down the drain. I mean that genuinely. Respect to the video creators (of the guide) and BTS is key, and if ARMY can see that in your reaction, the number of ARMY supporting your channel will grow exponentially! - You CAN PAUSE. The 'Purple Snow' guide has lots of pockets of information written out in small paragraphs as well as subtitles that translate the Korean. If y'all can't catch everything while the video is playing, feel free to pause and read through. Don't just let things float by if you didn't catch what was being said. Understanding the information allows for a much more enjoyable experience for you guys and the viewers! - DO NOT cut the reaction video up! One thing y'all should know is ARMY absolutely LOVES long reaction videos. We can watch y'all react to BTS for HOURS if we could. That being said, showing your guys' entire reaction to the video without cutting parts off is also KEY. The guide is 2hrs and 19mins long, but only showing certain parts of your reaction takes the fun away, so be sure to show your guys' entire reaction. If the reaction isn't fully released, people will most likely ask y'all to re-release it in full. ARMY will always appreciate the time taken to film these videos! 🙏🏻 - If y'all want to talk about a certain part of the video (or about something off-topic), PAUSE. Try your best to not talk over the video as you'll probably end up missing parts of the guide, just pause instead. - Switch on 'CC' when reacting to the guide. Make sure the 'CC' is set to English. Don't ever use the 'auto-generated' English option. - Post the full reaction on Youtube. If y'all have copyright issues and can't seem to post the full video on YT, you can make it free on Patreon. ARMY will def appreciate it a lot more if you make it accessible to everyone. I'm sure y'all will enjoy the rabbit hole that is BTS! I recommend you start with the Taylor one because it shows you how BTS came together, what they had to go through and how each one of them brings so much to the table, then you can do the newer updated one

It's more content for your guy's channel, it honors both guides, and all the Army's will be happy because we love watching people learn about BTS. Do Taylor's first as an introduction and then purple snow's for an update. You can even do more shorter content in between if you need to take a break from information overload.

The new one isn't bad, but it goes more into the newer things, which you'll learn as you watch the videos of them.

I've heard she's planning to make an updated one in the future once all the members discharge and reunite from military. It doesn't really matter to me who wins the poll tbh but i still voted for Taylor's guide. They could still watch the other guide after some time if they want.
