Cut to years later & they not only got to work with their Idols, but became real friends with them. So so dope

2024-07-18 16:00:08 +0000 UTC“paved the way” title is for BTS. bigbang had their run and they were extremely talented but they didn’t achieve anything close to what BTS has. the reason why the “paved the way” title belongs to BTS is because they’re the group that took kpop beyond korea. they made it international, they made it worldwide, they made it to the US before any other group did, they started from the bottom and climbed up. because of them, every group after them has had some sort of “luxury” if you will. whether that be nice dance practice rooms, good promotions, etc. but as you saw in the guide, BTS had NONE of that. they literally had to hand out flyers on the street to get ppl to notice them. so because of their hardwork, every idol group after them is somewhat privileged. so yes, they TRULY paved the way. that doesn’t diminish bigbang’s achievements but it’s just not comparable. hope everyone who reads this sees where i’m coming from 💜.
