You make a wish when you build it, and then others add their own stones or build their own towers next to it. It’s like a wish-granting tradition!

Hobi and Jin too. In the beginning when Jimin said he will cuddle JK to sleep to keep,him warm and you guys laughed cause you thought it was joke …I had to laugh 😂😂 they basically only had eachother 24/7 for around 7/8 years. Their physical closeness is not unusual in their society. Btw, you all need to focus on the content you’re reacting to. Pause when you want to talk. It’s distracting. I enjoyed 50% of the video. But you guys really need to pay attention to what’s happening. Jimin got elbowed during the night by JK and the only thing available to ice his injury was the bottle of Soju. Talking about them being alcoholic is so disrespectful. If a lot more of these comments are made, I will consider canceling my membership.

You explain everything and more of what I was exactly thinking/feeling that I didn't know how to put into words, especially about what you said with the skinship and the comments related to that!! And exactly, we all went into this without a map and went on our own journey, and it seemed like they were excited to watch and surprise us with this video for then some comments to come across upset and unappreciative with this reaction (ofc not all), and so I feel like those comments may discourage them to even want to continue this series or other BTS content which I hope isnt the case. I know some people may have specific concerns which I do understand, like the insensitive comments, I do agree with that, but to tell them that this isn't the "right way" to start is completely crazy to me. They should be allowed to enjoy the journey on their own pace and what they are interested in watching, as well ofc helping to guide them with suggestions or recommendations. Some of the comments about the affection also rubbed me the wrong way when trying to defend it in a way so that they don't take "offense" to it, making assumption already on how they're going to react to those moments of affection, feeling uncomfortable even though we don't know, and I'm not saying that it's not possible for there to be a negative reaction, but why make that assumption when we haven't even gotten to those parts yet and I think it was more cultureshock than anything. That makes me feel like some are projecting their own thoughts on how they're going to take it. I was also confused by those comments on why there was such an issue with them reacting to those affectionate moments here in this show when in general they're going to come across those moments in all their other content as well cause BTS are known to be caring and affectionate, and if they didn't know since it's not common in the west to see male+male affection, we just let them know, it's that simple

I know a lot of comments are like "don't do this" "don't do that" "lemme give you this disclaimer," and I get it...but at the same time, none of us went into this ARMY life with a road map. We all fell into the rabbit hole and found things to watch, went on our own journey and figured out more about the culture along the way. The only thing I will say is that I think you should do more pausing when you get the giggles or veer off-topic of the show because you did miss good conversation and important notes in subtitles...and then maybe you wouldn't have assumed Jimin was drinking in the middle of the night. I know you were joking around, for the most part, but I do agree some of those 'alcoholic' comments weren't nice (nor true) especially since you didn't really pay attention to the scene due to talking over it. I'm grateful Caleb explained a bit of the context. As for watching the show, there is a reason of why we say ARMYs are from different eras, like: "dynamite armys," or "chapter 2 armys," etc... some people will be "Golden," "Muse" or "Are You Sure?!" era armys... just like "RPWP army," "D-Day Tour armys" and "Hobipalooza armys". Not everyone is gonna do a paint-by-numbers journey, and in chapter 2. Playback Boyz are most familiar with JK and Jimin's solo work and this is a brand new show so they watched it. They're clearly watching group content too and asked for suggestions for more group content, which means they will likely be diving into that. But not everyone digests content the same way, and we can't be upset if they see something they'd like to watch...and watch it. They could've watched this without ever reacting to it, ya know. If they watch something out of order, that's ok, that doesn't mean they won't react to other things. I see "this isn't the right show because you won't understand skinship" as if those types of moments aren't in Run BTS lol... they are. You'll find that in every bit of Bangtan content. There's affection in mvs, even "Dynamite." The way you're all bending over backwards trying to defend the affectionate moments is weird tbh. So what if they think a moment is couple vibes? ARMYs joke about that stuff all the time. People call Jimin and Yoongi or Joon and Jin an "old married couple" at least once a week. It's not that deep. We can explain things about Korean culture, but let's also not forget Josh Kim is Korean too, and even as ARMYs...if you're not Korean, you're still relaying information you were taught on YOUR own journey down the rabbit hole. Some of these comments rubbed me the wrong way. As if watching Jimin and JK content is not good enough because they should watch solo or BTS content as priority. They're all BTS. Some comments also veered into the homophobic area. Y'all are super scared that people would even dare to think members might have something going on or be interested in the same gender in general, but I don't see the same defense-mode reaction when comments about them getting the attention of women are said by reactors day in and day out. Let people think what they want because a thought doesn't equal something being true. We can say "no members have ever confirmed to date each other and we don't pry into their personal business" or "look up skinship in Korea," but we don't need to explain the members actions as if they need 'defending.' There's nothing wrong with what they're doing and over time, reactors always see affection among all the members. I just wanna say: Enjoy the show, guys. If you have questions about things, please look them up or refer to comments, but enjoy whatever Bangtan content you want at your own pace... we all have. :-)

As others said, it doesn't matter so much where you start if you get into their content (or the music) and piece it together yourself. It might take some time, but if someone is really into it, then it will all come together and you learn about the boys and their personalities anyway. Just be open and remember the shit you watch.

Even though some are saying you should not watch this show before you've seen other shows - keep doing you. Now since you started this, please continue! Just be aware and keep in mind that the boys are extremly close and are not afraid of showing affection. There's nothing romantic about it, so just keep that in mind. They are comfortable with just being close with each other, as they have been like that since they were teenage boys. But please keep watching!

2024-08-15 20:12:51 +0000 UTCthe comments pretty much say everything i wanted to mention. so i’m just gonna reiterate that the BTS members are EXTREMELY AFFECTIONATE with each other. korea is different than the US or anywhere else when it comes to same gender affection. so yes, you will see them hugging up on each other, laying on each other, holding hands, etc. that’s just how they express their love for one another. if you’re confident in your sexuality and don’t have any toxic masculinity then you shouldn’t see an issue with it. just like it’s considered normal when girls do all of that, it should be the same with men. society has wired ppl to think it’s “weird” when men do it and that’s fucking bullshit. but anyways. this is constructive criticism because you guys don’t know the members yet. so i wouldn’t expect you to immediately find that normal, but for future references; keep that in mind when u see them acting like that with each other. it’s very common in the korean culture and in kpop especially. there’s nothing romantic going on with any of the members, they’ve all made it clear that they see each other as brothers and family. they just don’t feel the need to pretend to be someone they’re not and that’s very admirable. do we still have dumbass shippers in our fandom? yes. but those ppl aren’t part of ARMY and quite frankly, those ppl are mentally ill 😂. they’ll get their own karma when the members all end up marrying and having children with different people. just something to keep in mind. other than that, we appreciate the reaction 💜. not sure if this was necessarily the show u should’ve started with if you’re really trying to get to know BTS as a whole but we’re still grateful :) <3

They said they filmed outside of New York City. Not true. They were in Connecticut. They said this whole series was impromptu and filmed the guys just going to random sites. Not true. Her proof was that they hadn't name the show yet when they started filming. Well, that is true. But the show was impeccably produced with each location full scouted and security checked and with a full staff and camera crew that knew exactly what was happening every part of the day. So if you are ever on YouTube and you hear supposedly journalists taking about the program or they know insights about the guys in the military...most of them are just made up stories. And when they call Jin as Jean or Gene...that makes me so mad. Or when they can't pronounce Jimin or Jungkook these reporters are so unprofessional!!!!! I promise they don't have the scoop on things. So. Just so you know. The fear of microwaves with JK is true. How do we know? JK himself has shared that on interviews.

2024-08-15 19:20:39 +0000 UTCIf you look carefully when they are in the kayaks there is a boat following them with the camera crew. And I'm sure with a water safety person in case JK fell over again. These guys are obviously an asset to their company Hybe, and they don't take any chances of them not being protected and cared for. Even though the members were doing solo work and dropping their albums, they helped Hybe make 1 billion dollars last year. And these guys are each worth over 20 million each. No doubt the insurance taken out on them is in the millions. So they try to not show whose protecting them when they are on vacation. Or show where the camera people are. But I promise they are always surrounded by their staff and crew. You saw in this video they are filmed 24 x 7. Going to bed. Jimin at night when JK hit him in the nose. And Jimin is sitting in front of the fridge to ice down his nose with a bottle of soju....there is a camera man there. There are so used to living their lives being filmed they just act natural. By the way this first adventure was filmed in Connecticut. And if you don't have any experience working with production crews you won't know that at every place they stopped a huge crew had set up the whole thing before. Notice how many were in the clothing store? How many people were sitting by them at the restaurant? The brewery? Those people in there KNEW BTS was being filmed there. And they all acted natural. They picked a travel site not heavily populated where there were few fans to bother them. A little off the subject, but when Jin was walking with the Olympic torch, he had 3 layers of security on each side of him!!! Are their body guards on this trip with JK and Jimin? You know the answer. YES. How did they film the grocery store visits? I know. You might be able to figure it out. I just watched episode 3. I just got on YouTube and typed in BTS and watched what came up. No rhyme or reason or logically sequence. I didn't know about "RunBTS". Nothing. I watched Everything out of order. I didn't watch reactors sites. I didn't even know they existed. And guess what? It was like a big puzzle. I slowly added all the pieces and finally found all the puzzle pieces to make the puzzle complete. It's absolutely fine to watch what you want when you want to. However, you won't have all the history for things to make sense. But you'll get there. 2. Caleb you used the term "this is their break up time". That terminology got many people confused when they first announced their new schedule. People thought they broke up as a group. The terminology they used was.."We are taking a break as a group and doing solo work. We are Not breaking up." We just can NOT continue on the crazy work schedule they had...no days off. They all were in complete burnout. Brain dead. They needed to take a year off for their mental and physical and emotional well being. They worked during Covid. No break for them. Again. Someday you will understand all of their history. And Josh in the middle was right. Going into the military was another kind of break for them. No show business. A real job with real people. Not being filmed 24 x 7. No performing. They all have loved and excelled to the top of their unit as soldiers. So. No break up. Just a break from group work. They all are committed to returning and starting Chapter 2 of BTS after they are all out of the military.

2024-08-15 17:45:07 +0000 UTCI think you mostly chose this show because you guys seem to like Jungkook a lot, but maybe keep this in mind BTS have been together longer than 10 years, JK is their youngest which makes them treat him like their baby brother. Living together for so long has giving them the freedom to express their love for each other in a way other men find confusing for some weird reason. I think any human that lives with a person for so long would grow attached, childhood friends are different, you see them every day but don't actually live live together. Jimin is an extremely loving and caring human with everyone; you could have noticed in the moment when you were talking. Army is not only a bts fun just because the music is good, if you really pay attention you'll see how they are the most respectful people, caring for everyone in general, humble enough to try living a normal life. Things we normally take for granted don't come easy to them since they are constantly in the public eye.

You guys don’t really know BTS and to me some of the comments come off a little insensitive. I not saying you meant to do this and these are my personal feelings but as a fandom we are very protective of our guys. You may want to start from scratch before jumping into a show like this. I would recommend The Rise Of Bangtan or something like that before this show. No disrespect but I really didn’t enjoy the reaction. Just bear in mind that there will be strong bromance affection between the guys from wrestling to cuddling. All stemming from practically sleeping on top of each other in their dorm room and going thru their hardships together. They are not just best mates but family and they arent afraid to show their physical affection due to how long they have known and lived with each other. Jungkook has kissed many of his brothers on the neck and in bonvoyage one of the challenges for the members is to wake the others up in the mornings and half the time is crawling into bed and spooning with them or laying on top of them or jusy being touchy. There are many healthy idol groups( stray kids foe example) that do this as well because of their connection and time spent together. So dont be too surprised when more of that comes up.
