Hi there fellow Wizards and Necromancers!
In the third tutorial of the week, we take a look at painitng Tyranids in the classic Hive Fleet Leviathan paint scheme. With Tyranids being the main enemies of the 40K Imperium and so many new amazing bug miniatures being released, I thought it would be a good idea to cover this topic here for you all!
I'm posting the video through YouTube as Patreon would not allow me to upload his video directly (too long and too heavy I'm guessing). This video is only visible to my Patreon supporters though (it's unlisted on YouTube).
Here are the paints used:
1) Corax White for the spray basecoat.
2) Druchi Violet Wash for the flesh.
3) Contrast Medium for the mix with Druch Violet Wash for the flesh.
4) Abaddon Black for all of the black parts.
5) Thunderhawk Blue for the highlights on all of the black parts.
6) Fenrisian Blue for the highlights on all of the black parts.
7) White from AK Interactive for the highlights.
8) Mephiston Red for the red tones in the black parts.
9) Evil Sunz Scarlet for the highlights of the red.
10) Troll Slayer Orange for the tentacles and the eyes.
11) Mournfang Brown for the shading on the tentacles.
12) Blood for the Blood God technical paint for the blood effect.
Here is the UHU glue used in this tutorial:
Hope you will enjoy the video!
This Lictor will be a part of a larger diorama with an Ultramarine Terminator that will be available on my YouTube channel. I will also post that vide here of course, but if you would also like to check out my YouTube channel – you can find the link to it below. I will post some cool videos (less tutorial, more entertainment) over there.

Thank you very much for watching and supporting me. It means the world to me. If you enjoy my tutorials, please tell your friends about them - maybe they can help more people and I could be closer to my dream of becoming a full time painting teacher here on Patreon.
Best wishes,
Mamikon
